English class was always boring back in the days. The only time it was interesting was when we Read/Watched the Book/Movie. Great times.
xX-The_Payne-Xx You can't watch a book.
exactly what i was about to say
xX-The_Payne-Xx ikr
Yea...
Fr
I just read the book, one of the most emotional books I've ever read. I cried, boy I cried...
''Tell 'em 'bout the rabbits, George''.
Masterpiece
A bit similar to Rain man.
what are you on about, book was boring asf💀💀
@@nagi5704 I loved this book dude
@@nagi5704 No it wasn't 💀💀
@@nagi5704 You probably think "To Kill a Mockingbird" is trash also
WARNING: if you haven't read the book/watched the film, don't scroll down. There are spoilers. You've been warned.
Why didn't you just report the comment?
too late
I love spoilers
Everyone dies at the end.

How the HELL did they stick an "in a world" in this trailer? HOW?!
The world in which they live (the Great Depression) is HUGE in the story of Lennie & George. Of all the places the line was used in film trailers, this is probably one of the better ones.
Outstanding film about the harsh realities of life during the great depression, the power of group discipline, the male psyche, fear, and evil hatred. Excellent movie for young people to learn or older folks to remind themselves about basic real American integrity, loyalty, and character and the lack of it. A movie for all people to learn about people.
real American what??? hahaha ok...
American integrity what???
Hahaha ok...
The poem that it’s based on is sad. So sad.
This is the perfect opener for my essay
@@thecapone45 And what poem is that?
He never even got to tend to the rabbits TT0TT
*Burntscones105* Maybe in the afterlife he does... ;)
He will in heaven
So sad...cried for fifteen minutes, I couldn't stop. WHY GEORGE,WHY?!
It good thing he kill him because if he didn't the other people people will kill and it will be worse
Or he would be pit in prison and be locked up which wouldnt be good for lenny
He would’ve gone to jail, which would make Lennie depressed. He would end up getting executed which is way worse than dying happy thinking about the future.
It'sCaitlin ;P he had to
Because Lennie wouldn't have understood what was happening when an angry mob came to drag him away and most likely beat him to death or throw him in prison and execute him. Differently abled people weren't treated well at all back then. George was sparing him that fate.
Optimus Prime narrated the trailer.
Yeah right? Cheer the care bear narrated the voice of Brian Griffin (family guy)
+TashTag # thanks jerk you officially ruined the book and the movie for me
I was the 100th liker
Knowing what happens at he end of the book, I couldn't watch the movie I would cry like a baby
it's allowed to cry at the end, this is a great movie, you're missing the performance of excellent actors
glove full of vaseline
I don't know whether to laugh or be mortified
Jj Man ahahahaha
I don't get it we just glossed over it in class..
* T H I C C*
Yup...
I read it before my class did, too... the day I got it (they lent the books to us, but I bought my own) I finished it. Being mildly disabled, much like Lennie, I loved the story. It was beautifully sad. And don't worry about crying while watching the movie... my friend and I cried. I've thanked her a million times for asking her teacher to let me see it. (Because my English teacher didn't let us) Great, great book and film! Terrific, just terrific!
Lennie and the pup is just the ctuest thing
Until he kills it :3
@@thedarkabsol4649 and flings it across the room
@@DClean Wait, he flings it? Damn...I might have skipped something in the novel since I don't remember that...
@@Error_707. yeah I just finished the book. He flings it. Stupid book, haven't felt sad in so long and then this book comes along.
@@Kaleb._ Yeah I did check back at the book after I made the comment :(
We read it for English although I read it on my own time since I had a hard time concentrating. My class loved the book so the teacher let us watch the film.
why is george attractive
Angela Marble because JOHN MALKOVITCH.

Thank you!!! Hes so beautiful 🥰 I actally fell in love with him as soon as I saw him for the first timen
He is attractive in the book i think
Summer Grimes he is such a little hottie I am in love with him. Funny.. I always imagined Lennie to be the hottie.
This book is so amazing. It is one of the best books I've read. I love it so much, it has so many links and foreshadowing events that happen this book is truly great
I'm reading this book at school at the moment, it's really good!

We read this book in grade 8 . One of my favourites . I'm 64 now and still love it .
I've just finished the book and my eyes filled with tears when I watch this video :'(
How did this movie not receive a bunch of awards? Both actors were incredible and it was directed beautifully. Couldn't really ask for much more in a movie. P.S. IF YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE STORY, WATCH OUT FOR SPOILERS IN THIS COMMENTS SECTION.
,,. Very nice and very good
help we just finished reading this book in english class and i quite literally couldn’t stop crying. amazing book.
an amazing adaptation of the Steinbeck Novel, Gary Sinse is truly an excellent director and I wish he would make another epic like this
Me and my best friend read the book & watched the movie in 2002 . I miss my friend he passed away & this movie will always remind me of him 😢
Im so sorry for your loss 😢🕊️
one of the saddest movies i've ever seen... i remember i was like 11 when i watched it and it never got out of my mind
one of my fave books ever! Without a doubt the best interpretation out of the 3 takes on the Steinbeck classic. Great job directing Gary Senise
Sinese did a bang-up job as director and both he and Malkovich hit it out of the park. The part at the ending when Sinese puts his head on John's (Lenny) shoulder before he kills him puts a lump in my throat every time
finished the novel in english and i was in tears absolute masterpiece
Such a masterpiece. John Malkovich and Gary Sinise did so great here
Saw this movie many years ago, never forgot it. One of the best.
Kid: sir what does glove full of Vaseline mean?
Teacher: use your imagination
Class: _WHEEZE_
my teacher told us straight up but we knew even before he said it 💀
I'm 34 read this watched both versions in high school and I'm still in love with this story. crazy they still have you guys reading this today 2018 lol seriously the curriculum needs a change
Great movie. I remember it had just come out on video during my sophomore year in high school. I got the rental for the class and we watched it right after reading the book. Probably my favorite time of high school English.
6 people didn't want to tend the rabbits...
Tear-jerker. 😭
One of my all time favorite books and movies.
This is my favorite book and movie! Am I the only 14 year old who has read Of Mice and Men by choice, not for school? I was going to for school, but the teacher changed it at the last minute. :-( It's an amazing book!
And personally, this version was the best version. I liked the one from 1939, but it wasn't nearly as good as this one. I think I'm just being bias because I love Gary Sinise. 😍
I am doing it for GCSEs
BlastMEDIA 321 what?
+Ahni Follett In English GCSEs, the exam is going to be about the book Of Mice and Men.
+Ahni Follett in my year 9 class I would read this or animal farm
Such a great movie. A true treasure.
I cried when I watched this in high school back in September 2015!
This book and the movie was one of the best things I've ever read for school...just loved it!
LIEUTENANT DAN!
Lieutenant Dan, ice cream!
😂😂🤣
Kiss my crippled ass god is listening 🤣
lieutenant dan, what are you doing here!
I read alot and Of Mice and Men is one of the few books that made ms cry
i love this movie!
We read this in high school and then watched the movie. That was back in like 2007? I never realised what a great cast there was. Audrey from Twin Peaks is so dreamy 😍
I LOVE this book
Just watched the movie yesterday for the first time! It's strong! And a wonderful cast!
I remember watching and reading this book at school for an exam back in the class of 2005
I was 14 when I watched this, & it made me cry 😢💔
I read the book in high school and also watched the movie. Once when I was a sophomore I believe, and then saw it again when I was a senior since I was a teacher's aide for a special needs class. Poor Lenny, and poor George for that matter knowing that he had to be the one to shoot him so that Lenny could at least die with happy thoughts. Even though he drove him mad sometimes he still cared about him
Sure one of my favorite movies, I love this movie!
cried after reading the book
a pure classic.
Greatest Acting period!!
It's a very beautiful novel. I always judge the books that were told to read I my English class but I always end up loving them :)
why does the trailer make me wanna cry
this is a great great movie to reflect upon
right in the feels
Superb.
Perfect.
I love this novella. Enough has been said.
Studying this at school and only half way through book but feel like I’m gonna cry at it
Read the book, loved it, made me cry ❤😭
Finish reading this book in my English class and now I’m going to watch the movies I hope this. Book and movie in the future people can read it.
We all did , I love this story . I don’t even read it’s a masterpiece !! The movie was great too
I wasn't interested in the beginning. I saw the book and already assumed I was going to hate it. It was Lennie's sweet mannerisms that made me pay attention. Since then I have developed such a love for the characters, it breaks my heart Lennie will never get his happy ending. None of them will. Easy to say that for a book with only six chapters, it took me on an emotional roller coaster. Compared to books most with 200+ pages, Of Mice and Men easily has gotten me the most emotional.
Book was great XD I never read it in High School and I just RECENTLY finished it. The ending though.
amazing book. amazing film. truly fell in love ❤
RIP Lennie.
I’m a freshman in high school, and just finished the book! It was unbelievable, can’t wait to see the movie!
best book hope the movie lives up to it
I almost cried at the end of the book
cecilia aladore I did
This was the book I read in English class and it was a great, the film was good too
The ending really made me sad tho, such a great book
Lieutenant Dan ice creaaaam! This was such a great movie. The novel was great also.
I remember watching this movie in Highschool lol
IN A WORLD...
😂😂
Looks like a great movie I am currently reading the book at school!
George shoots Lennie
fizzgirl66 I know I finished the book of the winter break it was so sad though
I've read this book at least twn times before my freshman year of high school! I've seen the movie about a hundred times too!
A must see classic: John Malkovich's performance is out of this world. So much food for thought.... trailers like these should be forbidden. gives way too much away.
Lennie was my favorite. Book and movie
Omg no
Lennie is so adorable
😂
This was my favourite book and movie. I just love it so much! ❤️
me too..i'm doing this novel at shcool.. we've just began reading it..
Great movie!
I seent this many year ago, the part that sticks with me, is when he pets the mice to death. (Multiple times) I had to revisit the poem by the scot, mr. Burns, that brought me here.
i am gonna read this book in my class
I cried at the end :(
i remeber this film, i watched it in english ah the memories
Nice
We're reading this in English class and I swear the whole class lost it at the "Glove full of vaseline" parts😂😂
Jesus christ, enough with the damn spoilers?
You just want to give Lennie a big hug!!!
I don't mind this movie at all it's with knowing Lennie is gonna be dead, and Candy's dog shot. It can be really tearful.
R.I.P To the people who worked on both masterpieces from this, and 1939
I have read the book watched the play now its time for movie
I studied this in my English class back at School aha
Sometimes English class is like a history class because we end up learning about the Holocaust and the Great Depression.
I wanna read this book.
bang!
I just read the book. It hurts man... it hurts me.
haha, :)
This was by far the saddest movie I ever saw in high school.
I would have been friends with Lenny...poor little guy. :(
We're reading the book at school. I've already read it... I'm just trying my hardest not to cry when we watch the movie at school too....
We recently watched the whole film and read the whole book in English class
I'm reading the book in class and going to watch the movie.
