This is a more understated interpretation than I've heard before, but I really like it! You both did a fantastic job, and the generally softer dynamics really give the piece a lot of dynamic range and tension. This was an overall stellar take, and it's also different enough to stand out.
French "picky" commenters might condemn his "roulement des "r""..., not being at all french myself though living there, I only admire the singer's deep care for accurate pronunciation of a foreign language. Thoroughly enjoyed this one version is a bare least I can say, piano accompaniment of course included.
