  • I tested out over 10 weeks two popular online dermatology subscription services to clear my acne and help fade my hyperpigmentation.
    Skin +Me and Dermatica both provide online services from dermatologists where you can access treatments and ingredients such as Tretinoin, Clindamycin, Azelaic Acid and more! on a monthly basis.
    The first month is free with only shipping to pay and you can cancel or carry on the subscription for however long you want. In this video, I review both brands and really go into detail on my experiences and what ingredients (and the concentrations) that I was prescribed.
    Make sure to check out my Instagram for the pictures I sent to the brands before I started with the treatment. - / adamrobertlamb

    Disclaimer: I am not a dermatologist nor an aesthetician, I am however incredibly passionate about skincare. I love to try out new products, brands, research ingredients and give you an honest opinion on the very best affordable and effective skincare you can get your hands on. With skincare, there is a lot of research out there that can be misleading or incorrect when published. Science and technology continue to thrive and with that, comes new and updated scientific backing and research to our most beloved skincare ingredients. So please take this into consideration as I try my very best to source accurate information at the time of filming.

    I have been using Dermatica since January, so three months now, I do notice that my pores are reduced in size, my acne dark spots are none existing and the texture of my skin is a lot smoother. I must add that I do use Niacinamide and sun protection on a daily basis, also I have improved my diet, so I'm avoid triggering foods like chocolate, fried food and pizza; so I think it's a combination of really good products and balance meals which have yielded good results.

    • @Pyxelles
      @Pyxelles Před 3 lety +12

      Just because your skin broke out doesn't mean the formula had skin-clogging ingredients. Tretinoin is a retinoid and as with all retinoids there's a period of "purging" which when your acne gets worse because it works by regenerating the skin hence it's completely normal, especially to those who are new to retinoids. If you don't experience any breakouts, either you are on a very low strength or your skin has built tolerance to it.

I am not fussed if packaging was damaged, like a box, that can be done by a courier or postal service, not really reflective if the product works or not. Sorry, thats a bit of feedback, as I clicked on this to understand which works better on actual skin, not to know postal issues, or packing differences.
