So happy to see you make the tarot pokemon a series! Reerie has such a perfect blend of cuteness and mischief I just adore them! And I was not expecting when Sorcerere opened up it's wing cloak like that. You're so good at animating these guys!

Damn and I thought your ideas couldn’t get any better: I love all the designs and just thought that goes behind each design. My favorite is as well the magician line. I love the spooky yet endearing adorable idea of the ears coming into a shape of a wizard/witchy type hat. So amazing I truly hope to see more from you. Keep it up 🙌❤️
Thank you for the support!! I'm glad you found the little witchy fellas so endearing- Toying around with the features of bats was incredibly fun, and the ears especially loan themselves to a lot of experimentation :D
My favorite of this video is certainly the Magician line. You hit a good balance between spooky and creepy, which is what makes Ghost tied with Dragon as my favorite type. Of course, the other line isn’t too far behind, and I could see it being sort of like Togepi and Larvesta in how you get it early on, but they are harder to evolve than other early game mons. Although design wise I could even see them being a minor legendary or a mythical. Both are locks for my hypothetical team.

Managing the balance of Ghosts was tougher than I thought, and the Normal type definitely threw a wrench into that more than I thought it would, so I'm glad it sits right for you! You're also pretty dead-on with the Fool-World line being a minor legendary, as I wanted it to be strong when fully evolved, but not to overshadow a whole team. Keep it harmonious, yknow? Genuinely excited to see how the team fleshes out as this continues 🙏
Apologies- I had already completed the designs for this batch by the time you made those suggestions. I'm also going to keep the arcana as original concepts as much as I can (my own preference) but I'd like to explore convergent/regional variants as a separate topic sometime down the line! 🤘
I forgot to say in this video, Divinale/The World is also a Legendary! Albeit a lower-power one. I would like to design some more traditional legendaries moving forward though. I don't know which ones I'll choose yet, but I do intend to throw some into the mix! 🤘
Somebody might have asked already, but do you know JoJo by any means? Sorry lol, a real question now, the major arcana has a limited number of cards, will you design only that much pokemon? Or will you expand into other tarot decks in case the project grows bigger?
LOL I have definitely been made aware of the Jo of Jos! 😂 For your other question, I think it will depend from card to card: For some of the major arcana I've already covered, I've designed entire 3-stage evolutionary lines, such as with the starters. Others might only be represented by a single 'mon, such as The Fool and The World from this vid. There are a lot of ways to establish pokemon relationships though, so the sky is the limit! If I have the time and inspiration, it may be fun to explore some of the minor arcana as well, but for now, my attention is turned towards getting through the big 22 :)
