Gospel singer and composer Judith Christie McAllister's love of music was first inspired by her mother, the pianist for their church. Soon, McAllister began studying the piano herself, a skill that clearly transferred over to her work as an adult as leader and later musical director at the West Angeles Church of God in Christ in California. After she founded her own label, Judah Music, McAllister released her debut album, Send Judah First, in 2001, which was followed two years later with Raise the Praise. She was and is ahead of her time! Over 20 years later this is yet the standard. She may never get the credit due her, but there’s no denying she founded the praise and worship movement.

@@xaysmusic Oh yeah. That's odd as it shows it on the recording listing and yet it's nowhere to be seen on the VHS lol. Even the end credits on the VHS don't mention it, it seems
