  • This short video debunks a common misconception about calcium scores and artery blockages. Contrary to popular belief, calcium scores do not precisely measure the degree of blockage or narrowing in your arteries. We'd like you to join us as we explain the significance of calcium scores in assessing heart health and understand why they should not be solely relied upon to gauge artery health. Let's set the record straight on calcium scores and empower you with accurate knowledge about your heart health!

Heartfelt (!) Huge Thank You Peter and Good Karma to you, for explaining heart matters ~ I was thinking a recent 88% calcium score meant I was virtually doomed to all sorts of dreadful stuff in future ~ handling the thinking and achieving understanding from wonderful medical people like you, talking straight, are absolute GOLD ~ power to you and all you do Peter ~ SINCERELY, Thank You sooo much from a 76 year old former worrier, who isn’t complacent ~ but soo much better informed now thanks to you ~ please keep doing what you do

So glad I found you! I had a CAC score of 106. It also mentioned 50% blockage in the LAD and zero in the other arteries. Without an angiogram performed how could this test know I have a 50% blockage in my LAD? I’m confused! Should I go ahead and suggest to the cardiologist that I have an angiogram? I have been on 5mg of Crestor for about a month. No side effects so far. Would appreciate your comments. Mandy from Arizona.

If you have a calcium score of 1000, is it too late to do anything
