This guide will show you how to install Kali Linux 2023.1 in VMware Workstation Player 17 on a Windows 11 PC. This guide as well as other can be found on my dedicated channel @geekrarguides ! I downloaded Kali but it made me unzip the files and I couldn't find the program anywhere. Just a bunch of files and couldn't find the icon anywhere.

I installed kali this way but the wifi connection is not working. network manager shows status is UP and running but still I cant get it to work. I am unable to ping any dns or site or even run apt install

I found the same thing when I first downloaded it. Try to redownload, I am not sure if Kali is having issues on their end.

I had the same issue when I first downloaded it, but i found out that the Ubuntu system I was using was oudated and that was why it gave that error. I have updated my ubuntu to latest version and it has installed perfectly,just like in the video. I am not sure about Windows tho'.
