Csk needs to play up to its full potential. Half baked efforts don't do them justice. Bowlers need to improve their line and length and bowl more Yorkers. Batting line-up needs to change.
Please give rahane a break. He is clearly struggling with the bat. I understand csk does not drop players because they are not playing well. But nothing is bigger than the game. All the pressure is on ruturaj as an opener. Give rachin a chance since his strike rate is at170. Or atleast send moen ali or rizvi to open. If there are early wickets in thw powerplay then rahane can pitch in. Send Daryl Mitchell at 3 and dube at 4. Jadeja, dhoni, shardul at 5,6,7. And there is a clear reluctance to use spinners. Csk had a standard wining template of giving spinners 12 overs. And also give santner, theekshana, mukesh Chowdary a chance for bowling. This season looks very unlike csk. Team, it’s very good in backing up the player for all 14 games, but please understand 75 percent of the matches is over and still Rahane is not in good Touch. With all due respect to Rahane please give him some sort of time to realise where he is making mistakes and play with rachin who performed very well in first 2 matches of the game. You are not making any good for Rahane as you are completely exposing and displaying form out Rahane match after match it will definitely not good for the player in mega auction if you are not picking him in next auction. Ans also it will lead fans to criticise him if csk not qualified for playoff Definitely Rahane and team need a move on punjab match.
at this rate CSK wouldn't make it to playoff's. We are very conservative in our first 10 overs. Every other top team scores 100+ in the first ten and its only CSK who struggles. Its nothing to do with the quality of players, its just that there is no intent to play big shots at all. Rutu is one man show here so far.We are happy to hit one ball to boundary and dot and single the rest. Need real intent in the top order to go ballistic.
