The box art mesmerized me, but since I had never seen the show and did not know quite what it was, I never bought it. A friend later explained the series to me, but I did not see any of the shows or movies until I was well into my 30s. As a side note, my favorite craft was Thunderbird 6, a de Havilland Tiger Moth.

Good to see that these japanese kits are being reboxed for the UK market.
I do have four problems here........
    1) does clear TB2 have two pods. The original release only had 1. But can only think that the molds be used are for the clear version of TB2 launch bay.
    2) Price ..... The UK price is almost in line with the japanese price, so there is is a incentive to buy here.
    3) Price ...... why is TB2 launch bay and TB 5/TB 3 kits at £75. Look around on the japanese sites and these kits are cheaper there so it can be cost effective to import in.
    4) Release date ....when. none of the places listed show the kits on pre-order.

It's a shame they are simply repops of the old IMAI kits. I'd be more enthusiastic if they where at least retooled and more accurate.. Needless to say the old IMAI kits weren't all that great.
Still they are better than nothing.

Looks like repackaged kits from a long time ago but with a stupid mark up in price. I'm sure people that don't know about the IMAI or Aoshima ranges will get those has those kits are hard to come by in good order. But to me It seems Bachmann Europe are having a problem with what to do with all the old acquisitions they have been hoovering up over the past 10 years and trying to scrap back the money spent on company buy outs instead of sorting out the ranges they already own.
