Snow did love her, because he did things that could have gotten him killed, expelled, denounced and stripped of what little power he had for her.He put that hankerchief in the rainbow snake tank because he wanted to save her, and he did that knowing he could be killed for it and at least expelled and arrested at best if caught, he wanted her to live, and not just for his own sake, he was terrified for her.He gave her his mothers things, and cheated to give her poison, which is again super risky and he gave her advice that meant she lived, he even begged his classmates to send gifts that could save her, like the water for jessup.He took the peacekeeping job in 12 so he could see her and that was the only brightspot he had to think of when he was sent there.He regularly left the barracks to see her, he even took ice from the barracks for her and marched into the seam for her, despite the risk to his reputation and what little power he had left, he left the district to go into the woods and lake with her gladly, again against rules.He went to a speakeasy like club to see her.And he did go into the woods to flee with her.He tried to keep her safe.
He was kind of like anakin, they both had 1 love in their life, and the love was not fully healthy as power and control and fear of losing corrupted them both.
so true. people tend to say "if you're not a good-good person that's not love", but ye, love might result badly, that doesn't mean that wasn't love at it's brigthest moments

She gave him morality compass he could’ve been good if only he didn’t lost lucy trust by lying to her i think they wouldve made it together i mean snow was pretty much ready to leave it all behind to go with her sad he didn’t decided to be honest with lucy when thats one thing she’s asking
He loved her but he was still a bad person. I like that it showed that Lucy wasn’t about to be the girl to “fix” him. Because that’s what it would have been. He’s the morally corrupt guy who the girl feels she can fix and it’s always seen as hot and beautiful. But it’s scary and manipulative and by the end she saw how he was willing to do things only beneficial to him no matter the cost and she got out. Good for her for leaving him behind
then he swore to never love again and purposely chose to marry someone he despised, his heart turned bitter and he destroyed himself from the inside out
They have such palpable chemistry that I had to remind myself half the time in the movie that this man is evil, and the one responsible for the suffering of Panem in the next 20+ years 😂

If you read the books, he more than definitely did. He questioned his morals often because of her, losing her and the feeling of betrayal from her leaving arguably caused him to go off the deep end.

I think coriolanus loved her, but it wasn't enough. i feel sorry for the man he was. i feel sorry for the man he has become. i can't hate him, but his actions towards Sejan and lucy gray were monstrous. i wonder how often he remembered his youth after...?
In the end, she tried to kill every lucy in the hunger games because Lucy betrayed her by leaving her and leaving a song that traumatized him.
He sees Lucy in Katniss.. That's why he always brought a rose for her.

I can’t say I blame him for what he did, I would’ve done anything to get back to my true family who needed me.
But he ended up betraying half of that family in the future too, it’s just part of Snow’s twisted and corrupted nature. He had good in him but chose evil in the end due to his upbringing and even circumstances.

Facts because this movie cuts so many kiss scenes and important conversations between the two. The movie makes it seem like he only wanted her to live so that he could win a prize but in the book he initially never even thought she could win. He game plan was to make her the Capitol's favorite prior to the games to get the prize even if she dies. But after she saves his life he puts everything on the line by cheating knowing the risks to ensure that she lives. Just him stealing food for her was already an act of rebellion.

It was really a really strong love, but it was hindered by fear

Lucy Grey assumed Coryo killed Sejanus, and if he could kill such a great friend, how would he not kill Lucy, when she was the remaining block to his life of freedom.
Both assumed things.
And went into survival mode.
They aren't people who grew safe and sound like us.
