This is top notch guys, love your work. These interviews are so valuable for historians of music, you've found a niche that's entertaining and informative. Thanks 😀
What an awesome interview gotta have him back for more had to grin when he mentioned assisting McCartney press to play album bought it then i gave it away felt the same as your guest love the show
Another cracking listen chaps (complete with contractually obliged 'I played with him/on that' from GP) - only slight downer was the ever so slightly chauvinistic dismissal of Kate Bush as a whiny 21 year old by Hugh, whereas Phil C, Sting et al are treated with reverence. They're all great musicians!!
The shooting in LA was justified. He came at the cop brandishing a lighter used for lighting charcoal grills and votive candles. I use them (I'm a bartender). They can easily be mistaken for a gun. Oh, and he was a crackhead.
Brilliant! Loved it. A huge talent. And what a nice bloke!
Absolutely love this! Great work guys! You must try to secure an interview with Andy Partridge!

Hugh Padgham - absolute legend.
Another GREAT interview!
I actually like David Bowie's "Tonight" album, quite a bit....
