@@rahulkrish9840 Tiguan Allspace and Kodiaq are in the same segment. VW discontinued the All space so Skoda brought back the Kodiaq. Karoq and Tiguan are in the same segment although Karoq is a bit cheaper.

Kodiaq too is just as much awesome car. And personally, I think it also looks better than plain looks of Tiguan. But looks Are always subjective opinion. And sorry, but I disagree with owner’s request to VW on adding a “Petrol”badge inside the petrol inlet to avoid any accidental use of any other fuel other than petrol. It’s all about the mistakes that the guy at petrol pump did. He would have still plugged in diesel to the car even if there was a warning sign since he took it for granted that SUVs run on diesel. He should have enquired whether the car is petrol or diesel and should have plugged in accordingly.

The only problem with this car is that after 3/4 hours of nonstop driving specially on hill drive the steering column starts to vibrate and it gets worse as you drive on. After resting for a couple of hours if you start driving again the sound disappears . But after 3/4 hours again the vibration and sound reappears

exactly if you are looking for a prwemium car with absolutely great features and most importantly transmission like this then its a great choice and second thing its a CBU unit, that means the build quality, interiors are of european standards, its like an Audi

Mujhe malum hai mai khud vw car chalata hu but tiguan is different car, iss ka ek door polo, vento ka do door ki jo wait hai uss ka equal hai. Or yeh car India main nahi hota. Yeh gari Germany se ata hai. So its quality is different. Jo isko dekha nahi wow nahi samjhe ga.
Most unreliable brand is vw/skoda in Indian conditions. Their cars cannot handle the harsh conditions in India. They breakdown very easily and on a long journey you are always in a state of mind where it is not peaceful. Asian brands are capable of handling Indian conditions well and thats what the sales figures tell
car is fantastic, the problem is after sales service.... VW dealers are rubbish... I have the Tiguan Allspace...even to get a tail lamp assembly - had to escalate it to VW through Twitter
This car isn't good for India, as in all wheel drive if one tyre bursts, then you have to change all 4, else it'll cause problems. Ofcourse people buying such cars are not worrying about money

Did you get it checked to know the reason behind it?
Definitely some issue with your gearbox/transmission. Get it checked rather than saying it's a common issue.
That's an anti fatigue feature, can be disabled

Currently inam driving honda city 4th gen tata punch and safari and with age I will plan to buy Volvo which is also luxury with age
