Apparently, the game was taken down because of a misunderstanding. Scott had approved a skin or something, and through a series of misunderstandings it seems that whoever was in charge of the game thought the message was to release it. The game will be coming back some time in 2024
I'm still trying to understand how they got "you can use this skin" to "you can release the game." how does the misunderstanding get that bad lol

Context: This game was supposed to be released in 2024, but the Devs mistaken Scott for adding a skin to the game, and thought he said to release the game early, and SURPRISE SURPRISE, they did. That’s why the game is private and Scott said he’s gonna start working on and fixing the game in 2024. So yeah, can’t wait!

I see where your coming from, but it can definitely and has been done on platforms other then roblox and works well. and plus scott would go the extra mile to make it in another engine, just not in this case ig. But I mean it still looks cool just roblox will hold it back a bit.

Roblox is quite a big platform to consider, and it's easily accessible without downloading additional game program. This can create larger engagement
idk man people using UEFN have made some very impressive maps and games.
This game has a lot of potential. Hopefully Scott and the Dev Team cook well (and don’t screw up releasing it early)

Promising game, but im worried it will turn out like sonic speed simulator (another officially licensed roblox game), and become a soulless cashgrab to profit off of a community. It's already feeling like it but for now it isnt TOO bad. Also the game is private rn for some reason

It is licensed but according to Scott it wasn’t supposed to be revealed until 2024, but after some misunderstandings the game devs thought he wanted to release it. This explains why most of the models are free/incomplete, and HOPEFULLY means that not everything will be behind a paywall.
@@Monkeylighthouse I saw that on Reddit. I think Scott should just shut it down and collar with dbd instead. This game now has a super negative reputation and even when it fully releases most people will still not try it due to its reputation. The micro transactions in it are insane and the developers have a shady history so I think Scott would be better off scraping it and collating with dbd.

I'm talking about how when branded events happen they are usually just cash grabs
Man that hook mechanic is so broken. I'm sure it'll be fixed in the final version but imagine having to hook someone like 20 times. The game would probably be over by then if everyone else does their job and avoids getting springlocked. And for the player it just becomes a game of "Y u bully me?" since as you said, they can't escape you once they get off the hook. I do love the idea of becoming springlocked if you die though.

First FNAF gets a (I'm assuming officially licensed) game mode on Fortnite, and now it has an officially licensed game on Roblox. What a time to be alive. This game actually looks insane. I have to admit though, this genre of cat-and-mouse style games (Dead by Daylight, Propnight, Project Playtime, Flee the Facility, Banana Eats, etc.) is starting to get a bit old.

True, theese type of games are WAY too damn boring, too generic, not any creativity, or possibility for mechanic's to implement, they are just cash grabs nowadays, you can't even play this game whithout paying, like seriously? Paywalling the Cast except freddy? makes no sense. there is a battlepass? why the hell. It makes no sense. it looks good visually, but it seems to be boring, it will get repetitive and forgotten.

@@shadowfoxbot7460 the reason it says that is either because it was a play test beta for devs only, or it was gonna release later on in beta. This is definitely not a beta because Scott himself said the game only released as an accident and wasn’t supposed to be revealed until next year. Plus the game got taken down almost immediately after.

Theres another fnaf game that came out on roblox recently called Five Night's at Freddy's: REMAKE. It's pretty high quality and an interesting new take on the og game, but in the end, its still standard fnaf gameplay. Thank's for the endless uploads tho, cures my boredom.
