Architect Maanasi Hattangadi talks of gender parity in architectural practice globally.
She claims to be one-half of the practice, one-half of the architectural practice, and representation.
In today's context, women cannot be promoted beyond a certain cadre in the defense due to which women clusters are leading protests across cities along with an idea conforming the two genders only - male and female. She addresses the invisible gender-fluid - beyond he, she, and they in the post jury discussion for writing architecture trophy 2020.
Architect Maansai Hattangadi is the partner and director of the Matter, Sangolda. She is inclined towards writing along with practicing architecture. She believes that great things happen outside the bracket, she is surely an inspiration to young growing minds.
