Score with Ghost Screens | Half Court Offense

Ghost screens are becoming more and more popular in today’s game and offenses, especially as a way to get shooters open in space for a catch & shoot opportunity or create driving lanes.
A ghost screen is essentially a fake screen or a running slip, and occurs when a player (usually a shooter) approaches the ball handler to set a ball screen, but instead of screening he sprints to open space. The goal of a ghost screen is to create confusion among the defenders and distort the defense.

I've started teaching my HS varsity kids ghost screens and it's been pretty effective so far. I'm excited to see what we can do with them

So many ball screens in HS nowadays. Do you guys have the personnel to default to a bunch of 3s when the lane is inevitably squeezed to take away the roller?

@Shareefllovekdj I'm lucky to have a couple bigs who can shoot from the perimeter. We ghost with them and they flare out instead of rolling. We use it to reverse the ball a lot against zones.
