Aermacchi is an Iconic Italian old brand, they even did WWII airplanes, it struggled in a tight economy moment and was bought by US's AMF , owner at that time of HD too , it was a matter of national pride that Italy's CAGIVA bought it back from the Americans.
    I love that nippy 350 !

Gorgeous! Always loves those little Italian Harleys. Too bad they stopped making them. There's obviously still a market for inexpensive, simple, small to medium bikes. Moco's losing out only concentrating on the high end.

I'm not into stereotypes which I think makes us all haters. I'd ride this with my dirt bike Honda gear on in a heart beat. Love these Harley's.

Man, I had that bike, exact color, too. It was my first and I paid $200 for it used at a Harley dealer in St. Louis, MI. The thing was a beast and kick starting it was a bear. I rode the piss outta that bike - dirt roads, trails, jumps - and sold it for what I paid for it. I still have a burn mark from the pipe on my wrist that grows an odd forest of hair lol

Can't remember? Re-badged Benelli? Or another Italian brand? It's on the tip of my tongue.

Aermacchi, originally made by this Italian airplane builder ("Air machine"), Harley bought half share in the factory and they were re-badged as HD Sprints. A 250cc version set the world 250cc record by running 176mph at Bonneville in 1967. You could also purchase the CRS flat tracker or the CRTT road racer over-the counter at your local HD dealer in the 60's.
