I absolutely adore the way they extended the solos out in "Christ and Cocaine"! Thanks so much for posting this! I hope someday the pure audio from the sound board from this show gets released as a CD. That would be amazing. RIP Selim.
Good job Thelma. I've seen this gig a couple of times and have never noticed it was your recording. What a great band they were. I'll be forever mad with myself for losing several opportunities to see them and always thought "Fuck. Oh well, I will see them eventually". Took it for granted and Selim showed me how wrong I was, unfortunately.

I can barely believe that I actually got to enjoy The Devil's Blood live, it's all a bit much to take in.
Selim was a blessing and a true tormented genius, I respect his decision to move on, but I just can't let it go fully as I imagine the work which he could've produced if only he had the conviction left to stay in this earthly life.
Felt the same regarding Jon Nödtveidt of Dissection (just to name a closely related victim of LHP-related suicide)
I am so jealous you got to witness their awseomness live. I never got too :(
This band has place carved in my heart and there they will remain, forever. Thank You, Selim.

Love this band, the bass lines are so funky, and Farida has such an eerie voice that fits in perfect with the music. Seen & Fell in love with them when they came with Behemoth, unfortunately, I couldn't get tickets to see them at the deathfest:(

Went to see Devils Blood with with Behemoth and Watain. Showed up at 7pm. They just finished their set at 6:45. Looks like I won't be catching them the next time around. RIP Selim
