For a so called "unbiased" review this review is pretty biased. You should also mention that you can eventually only level up if you spend a large sum of money (to get to level 35, a few people I knew spent $50,000 to $70,000) or you have access to 20 to 40 farm accounts for the sole purpose of giving your account resources. With spending a moderate amount of money ($3,000 to $5,000) you can get to level 15 in about 2 days, 5 days for level 20, 1 year for level 30, and 2 to 3 years for level 35. These are also assuming you have access to farm accounts to help gather resources. The developers don't update the game much and the "events" become like chores after about 20 times of completing them.
The game’s not for everybody, I’m currently leveling up the main hall to 15 now and I’ve only been playing two weeks, not one cent spent on the game

When I got to level 16 I had to start spending money cuz at that point the grind becomes insane
It doesn't become insane but just slows a lot more.
Soon or later, you will need farms

You want to get to level 19 within a month or 2 you gotta spend at least 300 probably more as you’ll be learning at the start. The leaders of your area that are beating everybody are spending 20 dollars plus every single day:

I was gathering resources and before I could upgrade a building I was ambushed and I couldn't upgrade my building. How can I secure my collected resources from the looters?
After getting a lot of resources you could enable a shield so you dont get attacked till you spend those resources or perhaps in extreme situations you could teleport very far away from enemy players or the 3rd options is to join a top 3 alliance in your world and be protected by them.

Hi kaid - why should we use AOZ coins to buy resources and Packs when we can also use $$ to by them as and when we want? Is buying resources and Packs with AOZ a better deal than buying them with credit card?

Well then spend a lot of money in this pay to win game (to be reasonably successful). You don't really have to be able to do anything, just invest. From where I know this? I finished playing in one of the most successful alliances (that is, one that invests thousands of dollars a month) after 4 years with a c38. Roughly the equivalent of a Porsche.. this money goes to China. Please note Camel's turnover in recent years! In return, the higher the level, the more and more boring "game" you get, enemies sitting under shields at events and only a very very limited number of ways to play / strategies / tactics that are quickly figured out, bugs and game crashes that cost you hundreds of dollars (Loss of troops while you are being cheated on when the game crashes), although the creators know it from umpteen emails, no change (sure, of course it brings Camel additional sales), no possibility to take a break (real-time stress game) and rather superficial and often stupid chat histories with the other "players" So do not believe such promotional videos (the creator gets something from the game). Anyone who claims otherwise is lying. If you still want to put time into this money machine, do it up to a maximum of c30 . After that, everyone should master the "game" enough to spoil the fun by sitting under the bubble mentioned above. Don't invest money! It doesn't bring you anything in terms of price / performance, even if everything takes forever without money. There will always be someone in your world who will “buy hard” and oppress you. Thus the perfect start of the group pressure to take money in hand. Please don't believe anyone who tells you they would be successful or have fun without spending a lot of money. The short advertising sequences by the makers are also just a bait. These things don't even appear in the game itself. Conclusion: the rich of your world will determine and pretend everything, you have no way to do anything about it. The principle is to eliminate the small ones (kill farmers) in order not to give away points at events and to bring together those who spend a lot of money in an alliance. Price/performance is a joke and all factors to create a gambling addiction are clearly served. Hands off

@@KaidGames2 i can't get enough primary commodities like food and steel to upgrade city hall. I need 4 million of both lol. I'm stuck at 2,5 mil. I'm upgrading the minery and collecting it everyday but it is not enough.

I would recommend to watch all of my other age of z guides, that will help you in getting more and faster resources.
The game becoming more and more ridiculous day by day. You need money to join events and also a ton of money to develop. The scaling is just nonsense. You have a level 22 city by playing hours every day, then a level 34 comes and destroys hundreds of players alone in one hour without losing anything.
You can easily protect yourself against this mechanic. Like using shields when you are sleeping, or hiding your troops in gathering mines. Then as well as a defender you dont lose much troops but they get sent to hospital so If a level 34 ever attack level 22 he doesn't gain almost anything but just loses besides the ego boost.
@@KaidGames2 yeah, super fun when you attack and titans reinforce only... or when you get attacked 28 times with golden titans and 1k axeman... zeroing any city. bur sure, protect this garbage mechanic

@@KaidGames2 You eventually can only have enough shields if you buy the monthly card, the game doesn't give that many opportunities to get shields. Hiding troops in a gather mine is not a valid option either because your troops can still get attacked. If you have more troops than your hospital capacity allows, they will be lost in battle if you lose. To summarize, if someone with a much stronger base attacks, you will lose all of your troops and resources. They call this term "being zeroed".

The only way to dominate in this game is to spend money. Period. The powerful players are the ones that spend the most. There is no way around it. One asshole will control a world. Facts.
I disagree. A free to play player with few accounts can achieve the same thing that a paying player can. You can invest a lot of money in the game but if you don't learn it then the more powerful free to play players can take it all away and 0 your city.
@@KaidGames2 this is a lie. If you play it without spending, you will have a trash city even after years of playing. I spent hundreds of dollars, have a c32 city with +600% long range bonus. A big wallet player crushed my whole city with level 1 troops and 50000$ titans (titans never die).

That is up to your alliance leader. They are responsible for appointing r1 to r2, r2 to r3, etc.

Bias & not 100% truthful. Most event games & challenges require $$$ to participate or to win the prizes. The software is rigged even when you do pay, which is something this developer needs to be sued for as it's deceptive trade. This game isn't worth $20 monthly!😂
