    Congratulations. You made a D tier flywheel battery. Upload a version of this that includes a measure of how fast that wheel in the middle is spinning currently or how many watts are being produced. Then I might believe that this is infinite. But as is, the flywheel will inevitably slow and stop even if nothing was plugged in because there will be power loss along the wires as well as friction.

    • @johnfischer1298
      @johnfischer1298 Před 2 lety +1

      What would be an acceptable test?
      A known voltage amount for the priming energy? The energy rates per unit? The size and weight of the wheel?
      Or what would be an acceptable test in your eyes?
      A speed gage at start of the wheel and it’s speed drop on x voltage draw?

    • @Darthybuddy
      @Darthybuddy Před 2 lety +4

      @@johnfischer1298 litterally just slap a voltmeter on any of the wiring involved, and measure the rotational speed of the wheel.
      if either decreases, then there is power loss and the system will eventually halt.

      Agree with you, I would like to see some meter readings. This has the potential for a temporary fix to black outs in rural areas. It's cheap and affordable. Though technically a wind/solar combo may be a better fix, cost is also something that needs to be taken into account.

      No, it doesn't produce work. It temporarily stores energy and releasing it with a loss (motor heat, generator heat, mechanical friction). You need to put more energy into the system then what you get overall.

    Interestingly in the 1950's the Soviet Coal industry perceived a requirement for a simple locomotive flame proofed "gathering" locomotive with a range of about 2-3Km. As a result of this the "Gyroz" locomotive was designed this has a low pressure compressed air motor which spins a flywheel up to 3000 rpm which then powers the locomotive via a 2-speed mechanical transmission.
    They are still in production today.

    This is called a perpetual motion device, which is a fancy physics term for there’s no such thing as a free lunch. This device doesn’t produce any more energy than it takes to power it and likely has a net negative output, meaning it takes more power to generate the electricity then it would to just use that electricity to power whatever it is you’re generating electricity for in the first place. Some of you in the comments should have payed more attention in high school physics.

    Neat: an electric motor drives a generator, with more juice just "appearing".
    Here's an idea to get more juice: take out the generator and simply plug up the junk that's plugged into the generator.
    Would eliminate the losses from the weighted circular mass and the generation loss from the generator.
    Also, no need for such an extensive bracket.
    Take away 75% of the junk that makes the video more interesting from a CZcams perspective and, voila, you have a simple situation where junk is just plugged up for power in a conventional way.
    Perfect youtube video! Goes around and does, nothing.

    Once again, the possibilities are good, BUT there is no feedback sensor / Control logic system. The biggest problem I see is that the driving motor is enormous and it does not have to be. A considerable amount of the power being derived from the generator is being used to drive the driving motor - far better to use a much lower voltage, high torque driving motor with an appropriate feedback Control Logic system to drive the driving motor so when there is A REAL LOAD on the generator the feedback Control Logic will allow a greater current to drive the driving motor harder, so maintaining a current appropriate for a household electrical load. 5Kw is not going to power a lot, but it does depend where it is in the world. 5/10

    As far as I can understand the flyweel movement makes the brown electric motor generate electricity, showed by the lamp. The black motor receves that eletricity and makes the flyweel keep turning what makes the brown motor go on generating energy. Until here, everything seems to me to be all right. But how long does this system work?😀

    No es "un sistema de energía libre" ni mucho menos "inagotable", pero seguro a muchos se nos hace evidente que es una forma de subir el rendiminento de una máquina.
    Nada nuevo. Solo que a veces inaplicable. La masa del disco rojo "acumula energía cinética" pero se irá inexorablemente deteniendo. Más rápido si se sube el consumo de salida.
