After one ui 5 update whenever I try to type something in Samsung reminder application using gboard the screen goes black. It only works with Samsung keyboard. The same thing happens even while typing alarm name. Donno whether it's gboard issue or Samsung forcefully making us to use their keyboard ? 😢

Samsung really needs to work on their sensor accuracy. This should not be happening with a 6th generation smartwatch and people are starting to notice. You can't just sell a smartwatch that looks pretty, it also needs to be smart. With the Apple watch X coming out next year, Samsung better have something up their sleeve.
Samsung shouldn't be allowed to make smartwatches. i have the 5 with latest updates (and cleared cache!) and it's just so unreliable: GPS, sleep tracking, blood oxygen levels, body composition. I don't think it's a software issue. The watch's sensors are just not good enough. I'm all Galaxy: phone, tablet, earphones and the watch is the only fly in the ointment.
My Galaxy watch 4 bt (Brazil) got worse on detecting deep sleep after the update. Before I would get 3, 4 or 5 deep sleeps during the night, now I get only one.
Just a little positive that I noticed after the One UI 5 update: when you are charging the watch the current percentage battery is now readable without magnifying glasses, well done Samsung 😄
I was already happy with GPS accuracy on my GW 4 bluetooth on OneUI 4. Sadly it took quiet some time to get the gps connection and every 4-6 moths i had to use an app called wearos gps fix because without it, the watch didn't get GPS at all. With OneUI5 now, i get it within 2 seconds, which is truely great! 😅 Even inside within less than 20 secs (basically impossible on OneUI 4) Hope it will stay like this. Thanks for your videos! 👍🏼👍🏼
I'm a runner and i do wear my GW5 44mm on my trainning for 5 months now. And what works for me since the beginnig is turn BT off on the watch when im about to run. This move increase the GPS accuracy and since i begin with i do not have any problems with GPS. I'm from Sao Paulo, Brazil and i usualy run in places with lots of buildings, trees and what not. I felt that the new UI improove the GPS accuracy, specialy K by K. Congrats for the channel, its really very informative.
My gw6 after doing the last update the battery drops like rain from 38% to 15% in 5h and the Google play services turns to 29%. Before did 3 days flat now 2 days and 3 hours ... 😢
First full day with watch estimated about 21 hours . 47mm watch 6 classic LTE set to auto. Updated over night let's see if it changes. Looking to push 30 to 40 hours if not I'm keeping my 5 pro. Will try the video you linked! Great video as always bro

my biggest pepeeve with the new software on my gw4c is the music shortcut. before, you just rotate the bezel to the right to the music shortcut, click it, swipe up and you could access library, repeat, shuffle all on the screen right in front of you, with your list of songs below it. if you dont want to scroll through a long list of songs on your WATCH (because why would you want to do that, especially without a bezel to turn), you could just click library and then sort by album, artist, playlists, and tracks very easily and quickly. and you can still do that, from the app screen! they removed that option now you only have the tracks list when you scroll up! its so annoying because it was perfect before, why cant they jsut give you what they used to give you before instead of making it actively worse for using the music shortcut for your downloaded music? it is completely beyond me and its extremely irritating why they even changed that in the first place, especially when its still offered, you just need to go to the apps screen to do it! WHY?!
I tried that wiping the cash didn’t do anything I’m on AT&T and I got my watch LTE six update just yesterday. I’ve only did an outdoor one and the tracks were the same as prior years before not bad but not great maybe two corners that took it too wide. This weekend I will do three runs and compare them and see if it has indeed gotten better after the update. Honestly, Samsung needs to drill the absolute crap out of Google because it is their job to make sure we OS runs across all devices, when it comes to Google services, Samsung cannot control that if it was a partnership, it shouldn’t have to be oh, we will fix it. When the pixel watch two comes out mark my words that’s exactly what they’re gonna do. It should be about the consumers experience, regardless, of which android device they use. Samsung. Also, I hate to say it needs better engineers. It is a six generation watch and they should have more than been ready with proper accuracy. I gotta say unless something with this survey improves and I mean incredibly improves the galaxy watch series. I’m gonna switch the Garmin and try something new.
@@simdencard i’m going to do the Garmin venue more than likely. I’m not sure why Samsung can’t seem to get it through their head. You have the better ecosystem 90% of the products in my home are Samsung brands. I don’t mind spending the money and I’m sure others will do the same but we can’t be shamed by products that don’t hit the mark or even come close six iterations there is no excuse. Samsung can easily get apple prices. They have to drill down their software experience. I hate to say it. I had less problems with Tizen.
They could fix the fall detection on the gw4. It was actually working before the update, and now it doesn't. That and a couple other things, like the "no phone connected" icon, that shows when the phone is not connected to the internet, even though the phone is properly connected to the watch...

I noticed that HR accuracy has gone worse since the update. I commute to work daily and after the update my 5 pro is really struggling with HR accuracy. I know that in 1 uphill segment my real HR is closer to 150 but the 5 pro is measuring +/-100. Before the update it wasn't so.
This is a side issue, but has anyone else had a blank screen when trying to add a description on an alarm on the watch. I have my keyboard default to Gboard but that works on all other apps.
Do you know how to get the microphone option to work in order to speak to text....mine is crossed off and when I push it it says "voice input unavailable, use keyboard" Thank you....appreciate all your info....I am definitely a Samsung fan!
i have read Sammobile post about GPS accuracy. will give it a test on GW4 next week. let me state that i have not bean happy with GPS accuracy before update. even on GW3 gps connection took about 10-15 minutes before ready to go. cheers
After oneui5 update for W4 , i have a problem that while watch is disconnected from phone , that disconnection alert vibration and sound is so prolong and it's not at al stopping , every most of the time i have to turn watch off to turn that alert .. any fixs ..
Ever since the update my wearable app just keeps popping up in between apps and just closes on its own on my phone is it just me or is anyone else facing the same issue. And my watch 4 stopped displaying few of the contacts mostly it is the 2nd contact of the same person.
I have great V02 Max so I want to believe it. That's enough to stay with Samsung. I haven't updated the watch as the current iteration seems like a beta release. Don't see enough benefits if battery life, which already isn't great, and deep sleep accuracy, which already isn't great, becomes even worse. GW4C here.

Same problem on my GW4 LTE... 2 updates ago I had easily 36 hours of battery. Before the last update, I got between 26 - 29 hours. After the new UI, I still have 22-24 hours. That's a pity! Good improvements for the last 2 updates but don't worth to sacrifice the battery. Some bugs are showing up as well and i feel the new UI is not stable yet. Regretted.
Because it's the right thing to do when it comes to health metrics. With blood glucose coming, accuracy needs to be 100%. Why shouldn't it be the same for HR, BP and others? It's why they are advertising the watch to be able to do. It's what people expect when shelling out their hard earned money.

Yes! I finally got the update GW4 LTE AT&T USA. The battery life has actually gotten better!

Me too. I think I'll try the Garmin Instinct 2X as this watch seems to have all the features and gps accuracy of the more expensive Fenix 7.

I noticed that HR accuracy has gone worse since the update.

Is it me or do the gps results look very poor before and after? Is it still poor in suburban areas?
Galaxy watch 4 lte, wear os 4 : VO2max shows 36 but I am sure it shoud be more then 43, gps is fine to me
I've been walking about 5 miles a day and my GPS seems to be tracking pretty true
How good is Galaxy watch 6 cellular connection in mountains or other harsh location for antennas?

Any solution for battery drain? Google play services drains the battery severely while idle.

I have 6 classic and it is the same bad accuracy like in my 4 years old watch 3 with tizen
Accuracy is nice but I have to wonder why anyone would expect a tiny watch to be super accurate about anything other than time.
