Thanks! Yes, I have seen the Sand as well, not just a different dial color, the texture on it is rather different as well. Matter of personal taste, but I like the Sky the most
This is a great watch.. just got one.. for me in order to be ok for the boardroom it needs to have the Nomos metal bracelet which i put mine on.. so much better then the strap.. IMHO..
Bonjour Monsieur Griff, Nomos watches do seem to polarise opinion, but I think that they're good watches. At least the Ahoi is versatile: most Nomos watches have minimal water resistance... I like Nomos products, but there are many other brands that I prefer... Have a good weekend, Bob 🍻🍻🍻⌚🚂
Hey Bob, thank you as always! At this price range (of this particular piece I mean) there are a bunch of nice alternatives for sure (Tudor for example, but entirely different style)… which ones would you suggest? Have a great week 🥂
@@degriff I am a Tudor fan actually: I've got a BB58 and GMT (just the thing for European travels) and I know that Longines products enjoy a lot of support. With Nomos I like the Club and Tangente ranges but the company fits long lugs... This is the deal breaker for me, frankly because I like a reasonable diameter with a relatively short lug to lug measurement. Really interesting Nomos offerings like their GMT are just too big, otherwise I might well be tempted. Regarding the Ahoi, I feel that the crown protectors look really odd, as if a child fitted them with Araldite... The Metro range could work though I suppose... 🙂
It is a bit less where we are based, can shave a bit of price away as well with a closed back… but that would be a bit of a shame here imho. What do you think of the price?
I agree 100%! I hope it didn’t come across as stating that this is a certified diver, that was not my intention at all 🙏 I do like how it blends some of the functionality of a diver (the screw down crown, guards and water resistance) with a dress watch (Tangente)
@@degriff lugs too long, cheap looking case, very fragile I feel they try too hard! Have a look at the classic German brands like A Lange & Sohne or even Muhle Glashutte..
Great Video - as usual! Grate - NOMOS! Nothing more to tell!
Thanks a lot! 🙏
Wonderful video!
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it as well :-) Lovely release!
Great video again! Polarizing design, smaller size makes perfect sense here. Did you see the Sand as well?

I love it❤

Very nice watch presented very well. What color is the strap...black or if there is any color called dark navy blue?
Thanks! In this case the strap was pure black

I like the Ahoi range - but I don't like separate seconds dials. It seems to be a Nomos thing.
Hah yes, it’s difficult to find a NOMOS that does not have that 😅
I just dont the Case back hold with those tiny screws
4.000 euros

This is not a dive watch bubba. No diver would depend on this... ever.

Divers depend on dive computers
No, but thats not the thought behind it anyway. Btw, do you know that you come across as being rather rude.....
Awful design, awful case and a decent Movt
😱 really? I really like this particular design from Nomos 😄🤷♂️
No. Not.
