3:10 onwards is some of the best Star Wars score ever composed, I won’t hear anything besides. A truly under appreciated score by Giacchino, who has quickly become my favourite composers working today in film.
@made4change I think Gordy Haab would be a much better choice. He scored Battlefront II and both star wars jedi games
I had to admit: i didn't particualary like the score at first, but the more i listened to it, the more i watched the movie, the more i fell in love with the score.
The fact Giacchino only had a few weeks to create the soundtrack makes it all the more impressive.
I can wait to see part 2 where you do the part with Vader killing his way down the hallway!!

Michael Giacchino , is a great successor to John Williams and Star Wars Franchise. He proved it in Star Trek . The slow intro and the rest of the track made me remember a little of Lost tv serie's slow and emotional momments. Otherwise he composed the music in the series back then.
Definitely a Lost vibe in the opening of this cue, it's the Giacchino style 🙂

One of the best star wars classical hits ever. It is so jarring with the emotions it gives you it is hard to not hum along.

2. It is kind of amazing how Michael Giacchino could create a score as good as this in 6 weeks when Danny Elfman couldn't do the same with _Josstice League._

Great French Horn & Trumpet Cover music. Loved it. Especially when the scene of my country, Maldives appeared in the video, I felt the music very close to my heart.
This is one of my favourite SW pieces and it sounds so good in French horn and trumpet! You absolutely nailed it! Please do the Mandalorian theme!

Sometimes I recreate them with virtual instruments, sometimes I simply use the original tracks (which was the case for this one !)
