Omg no way girl haha made this over the weekend. The recipient card is so old n stained too haha. Mate if you have probs spreading the jam just microwave it for 30sec bursts till it softens right up but before it turns to hot syrup hahaha..it really does help. That looks bloody beautiful xxx0

My mother used to make this (her name was Patricia, too, but she was known as Paddy). Because of the way the coconut lay on top we nicknames it 'hairy bun' which soon became 'hairy bum'. We loved it and it was an infrequent favourite.
