Shane has always been so good at those stun/draw shots. It works for him but I don’t get how anyone could be so successful with those shots, requires such accuracy and perfection.
It means your cue tip is rising up before contact with the cue ball. You might be aiming low, but at the last minute your cue tip comes up and that’s what’s causing it to stop or follow. Practice some draw shots from different distances, short/medium/long and focus on finishing your stroke with your cue tip on the felt. Chalk up, keep a loose grip, and focus on the follow through. You’ll find that you really don’t need to hit the ball as hard as you think, when you have a good stroke.
He also slightly curved it around the 7 before it hit the 1. Because he put bottom right on it, just enough to get the action. Because he had a good nice stroke with enough follow through he was able to keep the 1 in its normal path. If he hit it with any less power he woulda missed by a bit.

@@invisiblemaninvisibleman2097 it is not technique that is difficult. He didn’t have much more than a 1 ball window to go through to come back for the 2. If had grazed either ball, he would have left himself tough. He had to slide the cue ball to a perfect spot before it caught the cloth and screwed back… from a fair distance too
The reason they’re called American pool tables in Britain is because there’s a saying I everything is bigger in America it’s true pockets are twice the size to make them look like players
Not really. Stun draw( or punch draw)shot is standard shot in every intermediate( and over) players arsenal. However, in this particicular shot Shane had to calculate the exact amount of spin and speed for the cueball to leave the tangent line in just the right moment to go perfectly between the 7 and 4; in a ranking match, with a shot clock, and under the pressure. Also, by your comment about american/ British pool tables I suppose you're British , which also means you are probably a snooker fan and I probably won't change your opinion. I'm a snooker fan too( and pool obviously) and I like both sports equally and I hate when someone says mine is better. They are just different, and have their own pros and cons. We've all seen pool players fail on a snooker table, and vice versa. Trump(US Open 2022) being my prime example. He lost to first serious player even with bucket pockets. Do whatever you want with this information.

Memang harus latihan terus kalo perlu pukulan seperti dia...
Wicked stroke. Even if I made it I would been locked behind the 7😂
Love playing draw with a slight delay ❤
What a shot! 🎉
The way he strokes through the cue ball is mesmerizing never seen anything like it
That was sick!!!
The accuracy to make it by the brown ball is what's so impressive.
Great stroke ❤
He’s in the zone right now!
Love the edits

My idol🎉
Nice
judd trump plays daily this type of shot
Likely he makes that 50 out if 50 in practise
How do you draw from far? If I do it with speed, it still usually force follows or stops. Do I hit it softer?
Imagine the cueball going backwards after contact while doing it and keep your hand loose
Chalk up and follow through, a good table and cue help too!

Anybody notice how little follow through he had on the draw shot?
he uses the wrist flick in his draw shots. I tried it, yes it hardly follow through much but the power is crazy somehow
Svb vs who ??

I hate how the colors of the balls are changed and not sure why that was done.

Is he human?
To u all this difficult but it was quite simple
He had a very narrow window coming back for the 2 ball. If that is easy for you, you might be in the wrong business.
Very easy…76 break builder in snooker…
