I'm usually pretty confident I already have decent knowledge of Excel... until Kenji drops a new video 😅 Thank you for sharing those tips!
For shortcut number 7 automatic dropdown, the shortcut key is alt + down arrow instead of alt + = like I mention. Apologies for the mistake!
Brilliant and all under 15 Mins
2 saving hacks don't work in my Dutch version.
1. Alt+= means "insert =SUM( in the current cell". Someone else also mentioned this: alt+↓ (arrow down) does work for the list!
2. Pressing F1 means HELP is started. Ctrl+F1 will collapse and expand the ribbon
wow! so am i! i'm in indonesia and it worked like you told with alt+ arrow down. Thanks!
I’m only half way through and I would love a part 2
Brilliant! Thank you Kenji!
Thank you, Kenji.
Great tricks!! Thank you
Hi, Kenji!
Could you do a video or two on Excel for Education? Specifically, some common situations related to data on student retention at a college or high school?
This would be really helpful.

Thanks Kenji, great stuff to increase productivity. Your videos have been very helpful.
Had a small challenge with last tip, F1 returns help menu instead of collapsing ribbon. Tried Fn+F1, it mutes the speaker.
Cool video. Could you perhaps link your current setup?
The suggestion to use the "Alt+=" shortcut key to display the available names in Excel in PT-BR does not work, as this shortcut is used to add the listed items.
The key set for displaying already listed names is "Alt+Down Arrow" 🤗
yes need 2nd part
Thank you 😊 for the useful tips
However I noticed tip #7 alt+= works as sum and when I used alt+down arrow, the drop down list appeared.
Can you confirm if this is due to excel version?
Your courses are good, but the prices are heavy in most of them. Udemy becomes the option for most of us.
I used "Alt + Down", it worked as in Data Validation's List but it only works for categorical Data and not on the Date and numeric Data
which tool you are using to record the videos and for video editing which tool you are using
How come Alt + = does not give me automatic drop-down list? It returns sum error since my cells above are texts. Please advise why not working...
Bonus hacks in windows is Ctrl +F1
