- During the 1/2 Mile Drag Race event in Germany (Race 1000) I have filmed the fastest Volkswagen Golf 2 in the world on the half mile! Thanks to the guys of Speedmakers Vogtland this Golf 2 is fitted with a R33 Turbo 4motion engine producing over 1400HP! This is the fastest Golf 2 (record holder) in the world on the 1/2 mile!
This Golf 2 was the second fastest car I have filmed that day. After 802 meters (1/2 Mile) the speed was 320,56 km/h (16.431 seconds). Top speed of this car is 343,45 km/h.

The six-cylinder in line has not been recognized by any Golf, only the V6 block (VR6). I thought the idea was to get as much power as possible from a recognized Volkswagen(Golf) engine🙂.

Bin selber ein großer Fan vom 2er Golf, aber dieser VR6 geht nicht die Bohne! Vielleicht mal gegen den 16V Vampir antreten, dann sieht man wer gute Autos baut! Ist kein hate, aber dieser VR6 könnte viel "besser" laufen :)
Leider hast du keinen plan da diese beide Fahrzeuge völlig unterschiedliche Konzepte sind

@@skelletor8773 aha und woraus schließt du dass dieser VR6 viel besser laufen könnte? Hast schon mal einen mit ü 1000 PS zusammen gebaut + abgestimmt oder wie kommst zu der Aussage? In welchen Bereichen sollte er denn besser laufen?
@@AD-1808 Muss hier keinem "Jungspund" etwas beweisen, fakt ist aber das der Motor viel zu Fett läuft! Erkennt man an der schwarzen Wolke/bzw beim schalten sieht man es richtig deutlich ;) Hab schon ganz andere Autos legal im Strassenverkehr bewegt als diesen Golf xD Gibt ja genügend legale umbauten, aber in dem Fall sollte der Besitzer mal die Krafstoff regelung in Augenschein nehmen, da lässt sich bestimmt noch viel mehr rausholen ;)

mk2 an R33 wow 1st ive heard of an R33 what cars did they come in ? u guys get way more cooler vws then we ever see in the states..
Its a VR6 24V from MK4 or Mk5 Golf R32. Original 3.2 displacement. Different crankshaft and different bore makes it 3.3 or sometimes R30 3.0

Die gelben Frontscheinwerfer sind, wenn die original sind echt sehr selten und sehr sehr Teuer, oder besser gesagt die ganze Rally Golf Front ist sehr Teuer und wird bis zu 1.500€ gehandelt mit weißen scheinwerfer so wie ich es das letzte Mal gesehen habe!!
