Quincy Jones a musical genius who will live forever in spirit 🎤🎵🎼💪🏿💜👑
This interview was such a special treat for all of us 🙏 Truly inspiring stories! Thank you and as a Bulgarian, I was really happy when Quincy mentioned that he performed with and still listen our Folklore music and The Mystery Of The Bulgarian Voices.
In the last years few songs on top of my head sampled some Folklore pieces: "Swizz Beatz - Stunt", "Bonobo - Otomo" , "Noisia - The Hole Pt. 1" with the last two sampling "100 Kaba Bagpipes" (100 Каба Гайди).
I know Pharrell have love for space and there is another cool thing NASA launched 2 Voyager spacecrafts in 1977 and one of the music records on it was from our folklore "Valya Balkanska - Izlel e Delyu haidutin (Delyu the rebel went out)" 🖖

Finally🔥
in time of writing this comment, a week from now, this man will turn 90
"Evert Taube was the first rapper". This is the wildest shit I've heard in a long time xD
I thought jubalaries was the first lol that evert comment had my blown too haha
Quincy doesn’t age, man. He already is, so he doesn’t have to, but you know what he could do to further ensure that he stays young? He could make/produce a lofi beats video that people can chill/relax to, with the beats based off of the sounds of his music genres, jazz, pop and R&B standards, African and Brazilian music, you know what I’m saying? Although not being ungrateful, Quincy himself, all he is done and the wisdom he’s dropping is already more than enough
Evert Taube is the first ever rapper from Stockholm that Quincy refers to for anyone searching
Scott’s reaction at 14:13 😂😂😂
Quincy Jones❤
Wish I could meet him 😪
Sisteeerr! Remember my naaaaame!
Pharrell is a damn good producer too, but I absolutely love how quincy came up with the idea to have michael jackson duet with a Y.M.O a jpop band he thought of this is the early 80's #visionary
Great interview and knowledge
Man...I love seeing P just soak all this in
🙏🏽We love U-Man 💞🥰💞💓❣😘🙏🏽
Q is the goat.
🐐
South Africa represent
Ubuntu. Being humane. "I am because you are". Most bantu languages have that concept.
I am beyond blessed to witness this.
The Songs Are The Secret - Quincy Jones
Goat Q!!
"When we kids together we all goats"
What headphones is Q wearing?
That man doesn't have to do anything else in life.
Watching the goat call the goat a goat as they talk about their goat friends
He said Syndey Bassett, idk if I'm misspelling it but I can't find the person anywhere, someone please help me
@17:08
It's actually Sidney Bachet🙏🏿🤦🏿♂️, for anyone else wondering
@@theedniya thanks
quincyyyy
Wow....
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😭🙌🏾🙌🏾
guys! take the time to edit...the obvious lag they experienced in the interview should have been edited to make this video more enjoyable for us to watch and enjoy it. its like 20 minutes of work.. this was a great interview. BUT as Q would put it...its like having a great song but recording it at the wrong tempo...with a weak arrangement..the rhythm of the interview was waaaay off..it makes it harder to enjoy seamlessly
Goat is right
800 songs to get 9 for thriller?? Geeeez
2:10 “there’s no debate” lol the debate is right IN FRONT of you boi 👏😂
That's NOT "Giant Steps" on "Baby Be Mine." Just standard bebop-inspired lines.
Who's this Rod that Quincy is talking about? The Rod who wrote Give me the Night?
that would be “rodney ‘rod’ temperton!!” - one of THE greatest songwriters of the last 100 years imo
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rod_Temperton
@@BeautyLoves88 Let me check him out. Than you
