Definitely not worth 40 bucks. I've been on the fence about getting into G3 or not, and this is not a very good first impression.
I am definitely curious as to what they come up with in the near future! It's not bad, but not great!
That’s why it’s worth waiting for a discount. Bought this for $16 a year later. It’s a really fun arena with tons of gimmicks if you’re into that.
So the arena itself is kinda lacklustre IMO, but i really like the customisation aspect to it.
There's an amazon exclusive arena set for 60usd that comes with some more things like like the training sets.
Personally i think it should have had those rubber string walls that the GI and bakutech arenas had instead of the pinball arms.
Finally! Amazing! Arena is awesome aaaand.... Looks like g3 stuff is coming to my country too, which is very surprising because we didn't have last seasons of reboot!
Thanks for the video, it was really informative! After watching your review, I'd agree it's a bit lackluster and incomplete as a standalone purchase. 😮 They should have given at least 4 gate cards to cover the arena
Agreed! Bakugan should really supply an arena as completely ready to play! 1 Bakugan and 2 gate cards, and 1 other card is not enough!

Okay, I like how the bottom part is not the part of bakugan itself, but instead its like a base for the figurine.
That makes me like design and not think that it looks stupid, and i hope this will be a standart for every bakugan in 3rd gen.
The actual gyro part inside the Bakugan that’s gold with the black design is SICK

Okay this review is thorough and i was wondering why the bottom was stuck and floppy but its not just me
i think gen 3 bakugans don't have stat pictures because they don't have general specific stats to rely on in any game like in past generations. the stats that you will need to rely on in the game will be determined by which zone of the gate map the bakugan will open on.
Why couldn't you use the gen 2 gate cards? They're the same card size as gen 3 gate cards

I think these new ones look great but I'm kinda worried about the rolling it's very bayblade yes but I think mabye we can make different combinations like bayblade which would be cool but since the tip is at the center wouldnt that stop it from getting on the card all the time? also a question about the show for gen 3 is it another reboot or is it a continuation of the reboot?

Bakugan's cool. The fact that, like Non-Diamond Aurelus Leonidas, he ends up being exclusive to a gigantic, plastic battle arena is very NOT cool. It turns what is essentially a $8 - $10 figure into a $40+ figure. Which is a bum deal from my perspective as a collector who doesn't actually play the game .

I miss og bakugan, I don't know why they had to reboot the series. They could've just done what the new ben ten series did and make the og series exist in another universe to keep it canon.
I mean the reboot is supposed to be completely different from the legacy series and to be fair considering how you don't seem to like the reboot would you really want it connecting to the legacy series
The arena looks cheap. Especialy the spinnig thing and the flipper.
These new bakugan suck and are a complete waste of money and they don't even stay closed
