We live in a fallen world in which, God, out of love gave us the freedom of choice. If we see children starving, it’s because several people have chosen to neglect those children. Does God grieve for His children? Absolutely but I also believe that He has a plan for all those kids, whether in this life or in the next because He created a perfect place for us to go after existing in this self consumed place. I also believe that people are incredibly hypocritical. They want to know how God could allow starvation but aren’t willing to be His hands and feet when He commands that we feed the poor. So if you’re asking, perhaps it’s worth doing since it’s on your heart. We all have a contribution to make under God’s guidance. We are all part of His plan. Just as the Gospel reveals great mysteries, I think you’ll find great answers in there if you’re willing to look.
