Hey there, my 2021 enduro expert has this hub: Roval DT Swiss 360, 3-pawl design, SRAM XD. Do you know which parts and tool kit is required?

You’ll need a LN free hub body upgrade kit and a couple of specific tools. Here’s a link to the info:

I’m guessing it has similar hubs to the 2022 Evo Comp Alloy which has Bear Pawls hubs, based on the description on Specialized’s website. I would suggest sending Specialized customer service a note. They are pretty helpful.

I confirmed with Specialized that the Status 2022 has a hub with pawls not star ratchets.

What did you say the ’22 comp alloy has?

The Evo Comp Alloy has a Bear Pawls hub with an HG driver. It has 36 PoE as far as I know. When the cassette wears out we’ll replace the free hub with an XD driver.

This way you can replace the NX cassette with GX or above.
