Works very well thanks for the instructions, I didn't use buzzwizz or anything just the Lego receiver and battery box. You might have to make some small adjustments though because of pieces popping out and the motor getting pushed out but apart from that it is great.
Damn, that was quick till somebody figured this out. Nice vid!
Nice, thank you for instruction
Fast and responsive ... while it's slow as fuck and hits every corner in the room, but other then that clear and straightforward instructional video...also beginner friendly since not everybody has a huge stash of spare parts...so definitely worth a like. A weight reduction and bigger steering angle would help the car perform better these two my main problems with rc lego cars even tho i like them soo much...
First of all, thank you for these engine mounting instructions. However, I have a small problem with the steering at the front that I find too abrupt and it causes the wheel mounting rods to unhook. Would you advise me to solve this problem?
Thanks for this tutorial i have motorized model but i used sbruck and it warks great to
Nice
It’s very good car.I like this car:)
Brilliant👍🇦🇺
So where do you get the aerial and controller from because I cannot use it without and can I use a Lego battery pack instead of the buwizz please reply soon thank you
What kind of control we need to use for it?
I think the most impressive part, at least to me, is the fact you did this with no additional pieces other than the motors and power pack.
Thx bro
You should try the 42077 with two RC Motors and two BuWizz :)))))))) this is fun
Damn that Buwizz ain’t cheap!
Use the "chinese" Buwizz. With 47 USD, you get 2 "buwizz", 4 large motors, 2 XL motors, 1 servo motor and 2 medium motors at YWOBB (select McLaren P1 PF only).
Damn! I just fell in love with the concept.
Two questions if I may - first, where do I start? What are the neccesery parts for motorizing? Where do I find them?
Second - does motorized models work as well as motorized cars, can I take it outside and use it as a full use remote car without sustaining damage?
Thank you and well build:)
1. You get them from the LEGO store or from amazon and they come all in a box
2. Yes, you can take outside but be careful because it doesn’t handle the jumps :)
I hope this helped you ;)
Buy the bricks from BrickLink, they’re cheaper
Is there a way to attach 2 L motors instead of one?
If yes, how i couls attach it?
Also, nice work buddy, looking foward to do the mod to my set.
I achieved similar performance with 2x "L" motors geared up 1.25:1 (20:12) with an original edition SBrick and a stock battery pack. Wondering if BuWizz 2.0 Ludicrous mode would give higher top speed.
BuWizz 2.0 will always give higher top speed no matter what. It provides 11.2 volts output compared to 9 volts with the AA/AAA stock battery pack (New Alkaline batteries), 7.4 volts with the LiPo Pack and 7.2 volts with an AA/AAA battery pack (Rechargeable batteries)
I do not understand why you did not connect the engine to the rear wheel while you had the pocibilitie
*posibility
Thanks! I just needed how to to take the v6 out
Nice work! I wanted to modify the car myself, but when I saw how expensive the BUWIZZ is, I got a powerful hit bellow the belt. I could live with the other components, but that buwizz is insanely expensive!
Cristian Dinu i can’t even find a buwizz for sale, I looked for some but i found nothing, and on the actual buwizz website they apparently ran out of stock of them :/
@@jltworks3167 i saw some on ebay
I don't have buwizz :( it's to expansive for me. Sorry my english is not good :) But when i use the LEGO power functions aaa batery box and Sbrick? It will works?
Yes, should work too :)
just do like video or ??\
What can i use instead of buwizz
sbrick or power functions
is this possible with 8881 battery box and Lego IR reciever? i know the performance will be lower but just asking if it's possible
Of course
@@ZEROBRICKS ok thanks. because im thinking about getting this set and just wondered if it would be possible to mod it with the things that i have
Will this work if I use Sbrick and LEGO PF battery box 8881 instead of Buwizz?
Of course, but performance will be lower.
ZEROBRICKS'S LEGO CREATIONS thank you 🙂
@@ZEROBRICKS it would be good for 25 meter long rooms
Nice :)
Use the buggy motor for this set in the next time :)
Lio_2142 thing is most people don’t have one so then there is no point in the tutorial.
What light set are you using?
Light set?
Is this really fast?
I want to know if BuWizz is worth this prize.
It sure is, the performance and battery life are amazing.
how fast does it go? I've heard 25km/h. Is that right?
Final PaT from my math… in his demo it appears to travel 10-15 ft in ~3.5 seconds. This means it travels about 5 mph. Don't know if this is max speed though.
I but 3 motors on it but slower than yours does 2 battery boxes make a big difference?
Im planing to but 6 motors in it
I meen 7
I have an idea of how i can but 7 motors
Can I put the M motor? Or I need necessarily the L motor?
Probably not, since they are weaker.
ZEROBRICKS'S LEGO CREATIONS Ok, thank you so much! I hope it will works😄
Hey nice video and may i ask what remote control do you use to drive the car around?
Hi. I'm using my phone.
Zerobricks using an app? if so may i ask again what is the app?
@@rafi1056 BuWizz app, made for BuWizz
Zerobricks Thank You :D
Can put 2 L for better performance?
ông bạn đã làm được cái món này chưa. tớ đang lọ mọ oder đồ
That is possible
Công Khánh bạn đã làm dc chưa? Hướng dẫn tôi với
does that work with an M Motor?
Yes, but with poorer performance.
I moterised mine also with two L motors and than made a custom service out of a m motor. Finally I took off the Carr boddy and bulit a rat rod truck body. There will be a video on my chanal about it.
Next do quad buggy motors 😂
That will be a different, smaller model :) Hint, inspired by the fastest electric car.
It is very fast for two motors
Sounds like easy
hello this is a good video, please made a instructions for motorized lego technic 42029 pick up
Do not have that retired set.
aha thanks for response
hi, great vid...where can I buy the buwizz battery pack???...Thanks
Greg Ford on the website
You clearly have access to some kind of electronic device capable of using the internet. Look it up.
Something is puzzling me in this movie, I hope that you can help.
At the minute 5:06, I insert the fake motor and the shaft. But this blocks everything, because the cam of the fake motor collides with the PF motor and can't rotate. As a consequence, the PF motor is also blocked.
I investigated a little further. It is quite difficult, because the movie was not made with this intent... but at 8:06 the car moves and I can't see the cylinders moving (as if the fake motor and PF motor were not connected). And at the very beginning (at 00:10) I wonder if there is some fake motor at all !!
Am I missing something? Or is it REALLY impossible so stack the fake motor on top of the real (PF) motor??
Thanks for your comments.
Yes, the fake engine was blocked.
@@ZEROBRICKS I wondered what was the need of the drive shaft, if the motor was blocked. But ok, all my sets with fake motors have fake *moving* motors, so I will take this one out until I figure a solution.
Thanks !! And cheers for your designs.
Where can I get the pieces? 😭😭😭😭Please
What's program? At 6:04?
Lego Digital Designer
Thanks

I have one problem though. Where do I get the remote for this thing? Cause I know I can’t use any random remote for this. So how do I get the right remote for this? Please tell me, cause my B-Day is coming up, and I’m getting this set, and I really wanna motorize it, so can you please tell me how I get the right remote for this? Thanks.
Hi Lukas. I used a BuWizz to motorize this model. BuWizz does not have a dedicated controller, you use your smart phone or tablet to control it.
Happy birthday :)
ZEROBRICKS'S LEGO CREATIONS: Ok, but do I need a certain app for it?
Use the BuWizz app :)
ZEROBRICKS'S LEGO CREATIONS: Thanks! But how would I connect the Buwizz brick, to the app?

Great work!
We have some problems with this kit (42077 set) and the motorized set (8293 ser) but I don't 1know if this function set is really possible to use into this rally car kit.
Could you give me some indication about it ?
By the way, thank's for all.support that you will give us.

Is that use 2WD or 4WD mod ?
RWD
Can it use L motor and M motor ONLY to become RC mod ?
@@kertartapranawa7887 You need something to power up and control those motors...
Ok. Thanks.. But, what is servo motor For ?
It's just for turn the wheels ?

why did you put the engine on? It's not working...
Because it can't spin due to the motor being in the way
@@ZEROBRICKS yea.
i saw tht while i was making it...
Anyway
the model was good and i used an powered up XL motor and a buwizz 3.0 pro and now it goes more than 9.5 kmh
@@ZEROBRICKS ok no problem
i used an powered up XL motor, an L for steering and a buwizz 3.0 for extra power.
It hit 12.3 km
But wait,fake engine won't work?
Cool but stop turning around
