You look beautiful there's nothing like this Loc journey this is about my 6th year having locs and I just did a trim I used to be wowed by my length and now I'm focused on how healthy my hair is and can be. I see myself growing old with my locs.Thank u for taking us along how lovely is it that you have someone u can truly trust to touch your hair. 20 year bond how divine
I see myself growing old with mine too, and yes my trust in her is a huge part of that, I’m so grateful 🙏🏾🙏🏾 I love a good trim too. When you focus on the health over length it’s crazy how much faster it seems to grow 😂

How do you sleep? I’m thinking about committing to locs and I’m just wondering how I should sleep with them like a scarf bonnet combo or what do you do to keep your hair safe at night?
I just sleep with a long bonnet! And I’ll wear a scarf underneath on days I want to protect a fresh retwist. But if I’m being completely honest, there are some lazy nights I go to sleep without anything lol. Sometimes it’s too much energy 🤣
Unpopular opinion, but I don’t think bonnets make a huge difference-I mostly wear them to keep my hair out of the way lol. I went my first several, several years without any protection at night

Thank you! For the first 14 years or so I went every month. Now I go about every 1.5-2 months
