The central business district is situated within a peninsula of the Brisbane River about 15 km (9 mi) from its mouth at Moreton Bay.
We moved to Brisbane from Sydney 20 years ago, best decision we ever made. This is some great footage of our city!

I live in Brisbane, Australia and I personally feel that it is one of the most liveable cities and very peaceful with a low population but still has all the big city amenities. Probably what Sydney/Melbourne used to be 20 years or so ago. Its all about the branding on a global scale - that Sydney and Melbourne are the best cities in Australia so they're growing rapidly at 100k+ people added per year and that is contributing to rising house prices. Brisbane is relatively more affordable on that front and does have exciting places such as the Goldcoast and the Sunshine Coast on its doorstep. Not to mention the fantastic all-year round sunny weather. It is only lacking in public transport and infrastructure and a bit of entertainment/culture but that is soon to change in the lead up to the 2032 Olympics with Queens Wharf, Brisbane Metro, Waterfront Brisbane and Cross River Rail.

An excellent video. Especially loved the night time footage. One thing though, at approx 20sec into the video that scene is not Brisbane, it's the Gold Coast. And interesting choice of music. "Silent Night"?? Huh? That's a Christmas song. Doesn't quite work here. Otherwise, great footage.
I'm a Melbournian and I've never been to Brisbane, but I have to say it looks pretty good. Nice climate, plenty of green spaces, and very clean.As the Brisbane 2032 Olympics drawn nearer and all the associated infrastructure is built, the rest of the world will begin to realize that Brisbane is a world class city.

Visited Brisbane this past January. I highly recommend it! Visit the Lone Pine preserve for a chance to hold a koala bear and walk with kangaroos 🦘.
