One of the reasoms that Makoto holds back as much as possible is he doesnt want to unnecessarily reveal powers to the goddess.
Makoto, is strong. But he doesn't know of he is the strongest (especially when considering the goddess). So he likes to keep as much of his power hidden as possible.
Note that Makoto hasn't even taken off any of the mana supressing rings this time 🤣
Those are good points. Hiding his abilities because the Goddess is likely watching is a smart move. But also, the fact that he hasn't taken off his rings/coat that are absorbing his mana is also huge. The amount of mana he is using then would be the tiniest fraction of his overall mana capacity then, right?
@@JaredF235 Pretty much. Last time making Star Lake was a flex of just how much raw power he had, while this time he shows off his growth in controlling and using power. The anime glosses over it, but the WN mentions a few times how his ability to manipulate mana has gone from impressive to outright shocking by this point.
The disrespect that Makoto is doing to Sofia is very satisfying to see, first he sweeps the floor with her and then he humiliates her with words, Makoto is being a total savage here and I love it. Undoubtedly deserved since she brought it on herself.☺
As Makoto said, he doesn't have to go all out to take of them so he's not. The reason is that the Bug(Goddess) might be watching. no reason to let her know his full true power.
Rona has a very good idea of how strong Makoto is and that's why she left. This is not a spoiler, just giving more details from the WN. To help with the war with the hyumans, she did a lot of research into all kinds of things. One of them being a book/research paper like what he got from Loto about mana.
The paper talked about how it takes so much mana to produce it outside the body. The most anyone else was about to do was make something about a grain of sand and only for a very short time. That person was like a court magician with what that world thought of as a lot of mana. So Rona can understand that what's doing is WAY beyond normal, lol.
This and next episode are just peak. Rona grew a brain and knew not to fuck around and find out.

Shiki's interaction with Mitsurugi makes more sense in the dub because instead of saying 'why are you standing like that?' he asks "Why do I feel like your posturing right now?" which is basically his way of saying "Why does it seem like you are trying to pick a fight with me?" only to get told "i serve the Devil/Sorceror" which puts all the pieces in place for Mitsurugi, this crazy ass Lich serves an even crazier force so of course it would pick a fight with higher beings
Please only people who lack reading comprehension needs dub it only makes sense to you because you're getting told that directly

people not seem to understand Makoto is a peace loving and wants a quite life in his normal day to day, as that how he was raised in japan. however it is shows he lacked certain feelings, like when he saw a dead animal and once that button it touched he a beast of a man in a fight mostly thanks to his master.

Damn. I really, REALLY hope there's at least 4, 5 seasons of Tsukimichi. Some really wacky shite comes later, too. I am pretty worried because I have so many series I wanted to catch up on, but seeing another reaction of Tsukimichi is making me wanna reread the ehole available series again.

I wish that there had been 26 episodes in season stopping the season in the middle of wn ch 168 sucked especially the surprise reveal next morning. But anime viewers will be pleasantly surprised in the first ep of season 3.
