The sinistea strat is actually pretty old but still appreciated you share them with ppl. Still it seams to me that a lot of player still only have like 2 or 3 mons maxed out for terra raids and just bring dps. But what also would be really useful is a list of the strongest mon for each type. Maybe thats an idea for an upcoming video?
That would be an amazing video since one of the biggest issues is random players not bringing anything good to a 6* raid because the only have iron hands or azu trained up.
@@Decarus37 I mean there really isn't anything as good to use in multiplayer, and I prefer playing support. I do recommend Espathra and Goodra though, and Skill Swap Sinistea (Weak Armor)/Medicham (Pure Power) are pretty fun and gimmicky
@@equinox1223 i really enjoy cetitan. His ability and the fact snow is now increasing defense makes it pretty good for phys attacker raids that are weak to ice e.g. grass tera raids. I also built an iron moth as my poison dps and a lot of other stuff. But currently im sitting von 999 xl candy and im looking for some inspiration :) you guys can recommend anything?
The problem with such a list is simply that there's too many combinations of original typing + tera type. A pokemon that's good at hitting a tera type for super effective damage may be weak to the pokemon's original types (and thus STAB moves), and vice versa; a pokemon that resists the raid pokemon's moves might not have a good supereffective move. Another problem is that some pokemon have status moves that need to be taken into account, like pokemon that spam spore, or pokemon that buff themselves a lot, and things of that nature. In those cases it's often important to bring a pokemon like Gholdengho, or a pokemon that knows taunt, or situationally a pokemon holding a clear amulet to prevent stat debuffs. And lastly, some pokemon are just extremely physically or specially bulky, and it's important to bring a special or physical attacker respectively to counter that. What I highly recommend is using Serebii's tera raid battles page (google that), and selecting the star value for the raid you're facing. It allows you to preview all of the raid pokemon's moves and stats, and from there you can make a good decision about which of your raider pokemon you should bring (or whether you might need to train something new to counter this)

I use the skill swap Strat on my support built Florges, in addition to learning skill swap it can learn wall moved as well and it has access to pollen puff which can be used to either damage the enemy or heal up a fellow teammate. Florges also has insane special defense and with some EV's put into health and physical defense and holding leftovers it takes a lot to KO Florges.
its not truly isolated if you use a fighting sandwich you get hawlucha and lucario if you use steel you get copperrajah and lucario, took me 3 sandwiches to get a shiny riolu
Then you sir are the bad kind of people xD set up before the shield comes up is vital for most high level tera raids regardless if your moves are super effective or not, you're going to cost people raid wins by just brute forcing and attacking from the start :) just a bit of friendly advice ^_^
Oh man I'm so glad you talked about the polteageist trick. It lowers defense stats so quick and even with shields up or if you die polteageist has done it's damage. I like running mine with foul play, and strength sap. Strength sap while shields are down to stay alive, then foul play to lower defense when shields are up.
Silly that last respects doesn't proc off of raid teammates; if it was atleast based on real players and not CPU's, the deaths would also reduce the timer and technically have a soft cap on how much the move can be buffed 🤔
There is another Taxi Point north west. It is one of the Sights, west of that shrine on the rocky beach. "The Gracia Stones". Also, a big nugget on the center rock of the 3 stones in the water! Thank you!
with the isolated spawns the fighting sandwich will also spawn Galade though hes stupidly rare. Oddly I was useing this spot for a shiny Hawlucha and got 2 galade spawns across the buff and both were shiny. Im still trying for Hawlucha though...

The Gracia Stones? That's on the coast to the west of the shrine. But still a very useful travel point! I shiny hunt on the big island directly south of them.
The egg glitch would actually be really busted if the sprites in the box showed up as shiny, you'd be able to probe the egg to check if the pokemon is shiny or not before hatching it
I saw that a solid number of people didn't know this, but if you go back to the general area where you fight the Titans, you can find them as static Pokemon and catch them. They will have 5 IVs in each stat and will have the Titan Mark, however they are Shiny locked.
Unfortunately they broke in my game. Iron treads and the stork thing were both just frozen in place with 0 interaction possible. Eventually they disappeared.
An idea for a video : Doing a guide for EV, explain how defeating one specific pokemon give a set number and type of EV and with the good item you can add 8 EV of the type you want (+cannot earn EV with auto battle). You can explain what is the best pokemon to farm and were is the best spot etc etc. Just saying that because I figured out there was a lot of players who think they must use 26 of item like carbon for the speed. No ! Nobody want to do that it's too expensive. You can build the EV of a full team in no time and for free just defeating wild pokemon. Effectively saving more than 3 000 000 $ in less than half an hour.
My tip for this is attach the power bands to your pokemon while competing in the academy tournament. You will pick up a few unwanted EVs but you'll also earn a lot of cash if you use the chi yu amulet coin build while saving millions. Just use the debuff berries to remove unwanted EVs afterwards and they can be bought in bulk at the auctions.
@@adez13 that's really not what you want. It's way easier to beat 25 iron hand (or flamigo earlier but only 2 EV) with power bracer to max your attack stats on your 6 pokemon by exemple. Having random EV is the worst thing especially when you need to get precise value, on speed most of the time, to be faster than something. + debuff berries are super random and unreliable to get. But I agree on one thing, you need to farm some money and on that point raid are clearly more efficient and you earn other very useful things.
@@labadier4510 it's a little trickier if you're not going 252 into two stats as you know it's maxed when it sparkles. I check the auctions every day looking for special pokeballs and have almost 7/800 of each debuff berry at this point. Usually I max the first stat I'm looking for first run and need about a dozen berries at most to remove unwanted EVs usually about 4/5 of them. Then after second tournament I usually need to remove a couple unwanted EVs and can either use the money earned to buy the remaining EVs I need which is faster or run tournament again. At most it's been about 50K in supplements to finish EVs. But with amulet coin you get about 140K per tournament so two tournaments is about 280K earned minus 50K for supplements and probably between 25K to 75K for berries so you're still getting at least 150K cash net plus you've saved about 500K in buying supplements. You can also buy feathers cheap at auction so you don't need to spend 10K for a supplement to go from 250 to 252 you just use 2 feathers costing probably about 500 bucks. Raids like cinderace are better for money if done properly but you lose them eventually if you want to go online with friends so the tournament is good for money too.

The sandwiches not spawning the correct spawns is a really common thing I've found. I don't know if it's a weird bug or what but if you eat certain sandwiches in certain places the encounter power flat out won't work correctly. Good example is trying to use a Rock encounter sandwich to farm Iron Thorns. You'll get tons of non-Rock types spawning making the sandwich basically useless. Use an electric sandwich in the same spot and you'll only get electric types (but of course you now have to share Iron Hands and Iron Thorns spawns, on top of the Pawmis and Raichus that spawn in the area :/). It's so bizarre. Happens in a lot of areas. Another example is trying to farm Hattena with a psychic sandwich. Have yet to find a spot not polluted with tons of non-psychic types...
