dynamo buff idea (would apply to all rollers): the vertical flick is only triggered if the B button is held when you press ZR. so if you jump but release B before pressing ZR you would still get a horizontal flick, this change would also allow you to horizontal flick out of a squid roll or super jump.
So like, S'Blast? Honestly I wouldn't mind, it doesn't seem like it'd make much of a negative difference
@@TGCPhilip this buff idea does not currently apply to s-blast, the short range mode is activated the same way as a vertical flick (have to be in a jumping state)
@@nicefighter if you're falling, the short range mode doesn't apply, you have to press B either before falling or during falling to activate it. While falling with a Roller, the Vertical Swing will be activated
@@TGCPhilip if you fell without jumping as S-blast, you're stuck with long range mode until you land, whereas with rollers you are in horizontal flick mode and go into vertical flick mode one you hit ~terminal velocity. how i propose this rework would be implemented is: if you are holding B when you press ZR, you vertical flick, no exceptions, and if you are not holding B when ZR is pressed, you horizontal flick, no exceptions. (this change could also apply to S-blast but i feel like that might be a bit broken)

That undercover match was wild. Also, I'm amazed you pick the first kit over the second. I figured Torpedo at least helps in fights or poking, but I guess Reefslider cheese reigns supreme (between the two options). As someone new to brellas, I definitely like having a sub that helps me with aggression.

Painting could really make dynamo a huge contender for a cooler option.
They should just make it actually do damage, and then itll be so fun to use.
Like, it will still be slow, but if its swings hit like a truck and deal massive damage, then it could have its uses, like in Splatoon 1.
All it needs is for the minimum damage of both flicks to be increased to at least 60, so its a guaranteed and reliable two shot.
Dynamo taking 3 hits to kill is absolutely stupid.

I personally think the dynamo buff was not good, it made it more braindead to use. That wasnt even the main problem of the weapon, it had consistency problems with painting, not one shot hit box problems.
I agree, but if they decided to do it for the other rollers, and just didnt give it to Dynamo, that wouldve been even dumber.
Before this change, Splat Rollers one shot bitbox was wider than Dynamos one shot, which was INCREDIBLY unintuitive and stupid.
