i have been to one around three times (trying not to brag, sorry!), and let me tell you, its amazing, although i haven been to one since like... 2016 or so, but its amazing i totally recommend that you go to one, but yea they only happen in fall sadly :/

Im going to Ren Fair in a week or too and im so happy i can go since covid is over! I dont have any costumes or cosplays because i've been struggling with money so i'd like some tips cus I still wanna somewhat dress up or look nice

I highly recommend elf ears, because they tend to be cheap! Also, white collared shirts (especially flowy ones), & cargo shorts. But honestly, the main goal is to have fun. I attended a Ren Faire this past weekend, & I saw plenty of people (including one of my best friends) not wearing costumes. Totally acceptable to not
