    Bro, you just made me totally understand this pedal better than anyone who has demoed it before. I was up in the air about getting it but now that I understand how it works....I’m pumped about it. Thank you.

    Always cool to see all the wild sounds possible with delay pedals like that one. Not really my thing, but still cool!

    You explained and demonstrated this pedal better than I thought possible! Would love to hear this with one rhythm in a looper pedal, then a lead played through a Marshmallow pedal. Absolute madness.

    Hey Eric, awesome video! Where did you get the cool pedal shelves? (or did you make them - they look spiffy!)

      Thanks Tony! The shelves are from ikea. They’re called Mosslanda I believe

    I bought this pedal 2 months ago and your demo is the best. You explain things that are not indicated in the manual and the official demo. I understand much more how it works. Yet I still cannot understand what the "dry src" control does and means, I can hear it, sequencer is quieter when turning ccw, but don't know if it's memorised in the presets and what it actually does, quote the manual "...try setting the dry src control to analog"... ??? Anyway your demo is great and now I have the feeling to be the master of my Betty and not her slave ! ;-)

      The DRY SRC control changes where the dry signal source comes from. This switches between analog, DSP, DSP with trails. Analog sounds cleanest and usually best, but if you're bouncing the mix control then you may get some crackling noise. Switch it over to DSP to use the DSP for dry signal, no more zipper noise if you're bounding that Mix knob.

      @@AlexanderPedalsUSA Once you start messing around with all the pitch and loo stuff, how do you get back to a normal delay? I know you can hold the right foot switch and reset the pedal, but I can't figure out how to remove filter and sequencer sounds once added.

    • @AlexanderPedalsUSA
      @AlexanderPedalsUSA Před rokem

      @@LateCambrian The filter is part of the normal delay stuff, you can apply it at any time, and if you don't want it turn the filter knob all the way down to bypass.
      As for the LFO and sequencer stuff, you can disable it on the pedal like this: LFO - tap center until the lower LED is blue (LFO) and turn rate depth and sync knobs fully CCW. For sequencer, tap center until lower LED is red (SEQ) and turn rate depth and sync fully CCW to disable.
      Holding the right footswitch loads the next preset, so you may find that you end up with a MORE extreme sound than you started with.

    Awsome demo, very helpful! Whats your overall verdict on the pedal - you like it??

    • @EricMerrow
      @EricMerrow  Před 2 lety +1

      I enjoyed the pedal! But honestly, I’m not sure if I could figure out an exact use for this specific effect. Not that it’s bad! Alexander Pedals make absolutely incredible pedals

    I like unorthodox pedals and I own more than a few, but just can't see any use for this in my music. I appreciate the overview of it though, it helped me with my decision.

    This is a goofy pedal, lol. I'd put this in a similar category to the data corruptor. Whacky and fun, but not always...useful :P

      don't get me wrong, I love the pedal! And I have a data corruptor. Fantastically fun pedals. Thanks for demoing off-the-wall pedals. I'm learning about new companies almost every video.

      It’s more than useful. With four presets I have a faux generation loss, a phaser, a digi delay and a heavy modulated delay. Literally you can Taylor any delay sound you want.
