- The Dying Light 2 Iceberg Explained
There seems to be quite a bit of secrets spread throughout dying light 2. Most of which have been found… and some, well… not so much.
Welcome to the dying light 2 iceberg explained…
There are few animals that seem to have very high intelligence in dying light 2. Infact, There seems to be a lost goat somewhere in Villedor. If you go to the Bazaar and walk up to this message board there is a note from a goat. The note reads as follows, “I've lost my Owner” with a hoof print signed goat. Maybe the goat would give us a quest similar to the chicken, or maybe there really is just a highly intelligent goat, out there, looking for its owner… lost, and all alone…
There is a map in dying light 2 that shows a metro area. At first glance the map doesn't seem all too interesting until you take a closer look and notice the circles and arrows stating to check this area. Also looking at the map you can find street names, after exploring the map of Villedor extensively I was unable to find any of the streets that were present on the map, which drew me to the conclusion it had to be coming in a future DLC… we can only wait and see.
One of the weirdest things in dying light 2 is a QR code. There is a QR code in dying light 2 that has changed since the release of the game. If you look on the Villedor city map, in the top left corner there is a really damaged QR code and a blue box, the blue box looks like it may have had words in it but is currently unreadable. The weird thing is, this wasn't always the case. Back at the release of dying light 2 this QR code was not damaged and the blue box stated “download official free guide”. The QR code was not scannable at that time and they decided to make it completely impossible to read now. I tried to make the QR code pixel by pixel but it still didn't work. I'm not sure why they would put a QR code in the game that didn't work, then decide to remove it completely. Makes you wonder… What could they be trying to hide?...
There is an NPC in dying light 2 that seems oddly familiar… but yet, I can't seem to find them anywhere. This is, The unused NPC in dying light 2. So I was exploring around in dying light 2 and decided I would investigate the prologue a little closer. I noticed as I went to the area that taught you the fighting mechanics there were 3 NPCS in the T-pose position. All three NPCs are identical and when looking at their lifeless bodies, they seem oddly familiar. One of the weirdest things about these NPCs is that they disappear after a certain period of time. After finding this unused NPC i Knew i wanted to see if i could find them in game. I explored the rest of the prologue thoroughly as well as the base game, but couldn't find this NPC anywhere. they seem to just be left here…forgotten… to be lost to time.
There is a reference with a certain paraglider in dying light 2, that while wearing it, it states to look up, it also has a blood moon and a big dipper made from stars on it. Looking Up at night you can actually see what looks like a big dipper if you look hard enough. I traced it on screen so you could see it as well. This is a cool hidden reference to our astrology!... I wonder about that blood moon though…
There is a note in dying light 2 that shows just how aware the People in Villedor must be to what is actually going on… If you come to the bazaar, you will see a message board that says, Info Board, The latest and hottest. On that message board there is a note that states “all of this is fake. They watch us. There is Real Life.. Behind Walls.” It makes this game seem all too real, almost as though the NPCS are conscious of us watching them suffer. It really makes you want to second guess your decisions in the game… it's almost as if they know, “this is all fake”...
Well this was my personal iceberg for dying light 2 as there wasn't any made for it yet, so i decided i would do my best at making an iceberg for this game! This video has been in the works for the past couple weeks and I really hope y'all enjoyed it. Please let me know in the comments section down below, if you want to see more videos like this! I really enjoy doing this type of concept and plan on moving to more games other than Dying light 2 in the future.

I’m surprised not much of anyone else did something like this. This is so cool and genuinely unique also if you look in the background just ahead of Elysuim you can see a city is there and doesn’t seem to be covered in chemicals.
EDIT: yes do more video like this this was quite great and I believe you can make more like it but I like your content in general so do what you want to make
I noticed what you mentioned as well! Im very glad you enjoyed the video! I will for sure keep making more similar videos in the future!
Yeah I see no one ever talking about it. My theory Is that its going to be future dlc but who knows could be cut content just like all the other cool stuff they cut out.
@@moochmoochie7103 that does seem really cool! As well as a great idea, honestly never really crossed my mind lol It's definitely possible!
The Unused NPC is used to display sound if the player is far away, for example it dissapears when dialogue is finished.
Thank you for sharing! I see that now as well!
Be the zombie was made by a diffrent company that don't exist anymore
I understand your point, but they don't are the only people ho can develop a game mode 😞 and with more reason if they no longer have to design the mechanics from scratch
@@r4ni3l00 true
The company is working with CD project red on cyberpunk currently
@@XEOSIE8786 guess I heard wrong then

The music in this video is sad and creepy, so it gives me "i heard it too" vibes
I remember watching this one video, and I think it was an interview with Tymon from Oni, where he said something along the lines of “If Elysium were to come to this game, it would be reworked from what was shown”. Hopefully, if it ever does come, it’s not that much different from E3 and we get some cut content back
"This isn’t real" is one of the best theories.....like bro..imagine
For real! I totally agree! It's so interesting to think about! I'm glad you enjoyed the video my friend!
I think for the second game they may have chosen the bright theme to indicate a new start for civilization and the human race instead of a dark and gritty lighting like the first game indicating the start of the falling down of the civilization and the human race. That’s just my explanation for that but who knows 🤷♂️
I could for sure see that! As they wanted the game to feel like a new experience! I appreciate you sharing information on this!
@@MangoChuyGaming no problem! Keep up the good content I’m really loving it!!!
@@sw8093 thank you very much! I'll do my best to keep the content coming!
I know some people want depressing but I for one don't get enough of that in real life. I do wish we had quality of life features like not having to hold a button 15 minutes to open chest and loot things. I mean if the bodies end up disintegrating leaving neatly packaged items that can be quickly picked up, then I think we can just dispense with that aspect of "realism" for the sake of convienence.
9:53 was a renegade that waltz order to capture aiden but because of techland budget and dead line techland didnt add the archer
The gun location is in an abandoned underground terminal area
Finally someone did it! I waited for this for such a long time!
Thank you my friend! I'm glad you enjoyed!
Great video! Love to see more dying light 2 content I didn't know about
Thank you my friend, I'm glad you enjoyed! I do have more on the way as well!
Great video brought up somethings I hadn't seen before.
Thats Awesome! Im glad i could show some unique takes on the game, And im glad that you enjoyed!
12:35 the walls are hearing Juan said that could be a theory or a rumour between the citizens of velidor
i was waiting for a video like this from the launch
Im glad you enjoyed! Thank you very much!
Awesome vid, thank you for the entertainment!
I'm glad you enjoyed the video my friend, Thank you very much!
Great video man
Thank you! I really appreciate it! Im Glad you enjoyed!
now that i see it, i got jumpscared by a fire hydrant. Yes. i got jumpscared by a fire hydrant. Usually in games these are completely harmless and usually indestructible. But no, this thing threw me like a rag doll and scared me. I never thought i would be jumpscared by a fire hydrant.
Very informative again!
Thank you once again! You are awesome and I appreciate you! I'm glad you enjoyed!
Very good eye on the game! I wonder about the teddy bears found throughout the game. Also, the use of the "book clubs" on the rooftops.
11:45 what the f*** that looks like ogar from The blood ties dlc. And assuming that Abel isn't dead at this time, that would be his two sons with him. Cirro and Abel.
The one where someone rote there is real life creeps me out so much. I wonder which npc wrote that?
For real, it is pretty creepy! I'm curious as to who wrote it as well, it's so weird! I'm glad you enjoyed!
Nice video
What happened to the garden of eden entry from the thumbnail?
Thats a great question! Honestly thought no one would notice that! I overheard NPCs talking about a supposed "Garden of Eden, on Old Mound Street, with a glass ceiling" i wasnt able to locate it till i was and realized it was just a quest location, after realizing that i decided to scrap that on on the list, I could show it in another video if you like? anyway, Im glad you enjoyed the video!
@@MangoChuyGaming the video was great, really enjoyed watching this. You can talk about it in another video if you want. I'll make sure to subscribe to your channel so I won't miss any future videos!

Your intro. That logo on the top right. I remember my PC used to show that logo on startup. Before bios prompt I believe or during it.
I keep saying it techland needs to bring back the quantity of loot they had in dead island into dying light.
I agree!
Question, are there zombie type from harran in dying light 2,i mean in dl1 there a zombie called elemental zombie that carry melee but why there none in dl2?
Theres ducks you collect then go in the basement of the big radio tower building to place them. And hook up power cables to unlock a gun game a simple glitch would allow you to keep the gun. I already solved this after release of the game.
Hey you forgot one most unquestionabble question, who made the windmills and why nightrunner hideout turn off the generator
Question, are you going to make shorts again?
Good content good song good atmosphere god vid
Thank you Very Much! Im glad you enjoyed!
If you really want a gun you can duplicate scrap and just craft a lot of “boomsticks”
Question, how did city of villedor get infected
best content known to man
Thank you my friend!
They cannot put unlimited new assets because of performance and storage. Assets are a big storage eater, even a tree can be 500mb. So now you know why they can’t put knew assets everywhere and why every interior looks the same. Can’t have a massive open world without repetition, at least for now
I could see that, but a few GB of additional assets isn't too hard and wouldn't lag your computer, as the game only loads around the character and they have the capability to add more than what there currently is. they show us this in the bloody ties DLC as they added a quite a few new room assets, so while I understand it could take space, they have the capability to do so. Even skyrim felt pretty different and fresh at almost every location while still having some repetition.
@@MangoChuyGaming Yes, but Bloody Ties is a separate map and very small, much smaller than the rest of Villedore. Therefore, there can be allowed more different NPCs, and more various items.
Even in the much smaller Harran, there were many similar objects and interiors.
Question, why dl2 zombie was weaker compared to dl1
Question,im subscribed you
Question, are gre good or bad company
Modders added all e3 content... Except for a whole ass different dying light 2 game
I miss your content, pls make another mystery

Apparently rahiim is in the game now idk if I spelled it right Jades brother but he's like half infected or something I haven't found him yet tho I just started playing the update yesterday
I'll have to take a look as well! I had no idea, thank you!
Nvm bro it's just a stupid skin they made it seem like he was actually in the game but it's aiden dressed up as him lol
Should have put a spoiler alert at the start of the video.
Dang.. sad goat
Thus video I'd very Babaji (good)
Thank you very much! I appreciate it!
Question,are harran nuked or not
I believe it's confirmed to not have been nuked or at least not by Crane
Thanks a lot for this! This content needs promo sm!!!
Thank you I really appreciate it! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
ATTENTION: SPOILERS!! A little warning would have been nice....
Question, what country is villedor take place?
Question,how volatiles were made
Question, why gun were scarce and only colonel williams have 9mm american pistol
no offense but you didn't really explain anything besides that you don't know the answers of all these secrets either. your just telling us what we already know
Lol no offense taken, but you knew of everything on the list? I was showing hidden little things in the game that are theories/conspiracies. If you've seen other iceberg videos, it's a lot of speculation. I did the best I could with the information that was available for each subject.
Yes I did, it’s my mistake honestly, when I read the title and said the word “explained” I assumed it meant you found out the answers to the questions like where the guns were and all that. I knew about most of that stuff when the game first came out and that’s why I thought you meant that. Sorry for ranting I thought you were just clickbaiting but I know now that isn’t true. Keep up the good content man
No worries man I totally understand! I definitely wasn't trying to clickbait, but I can also see how you would think that as well! But no worries brotha! I'm glad you enjoyed! I hope you Have a wonderful evening my friend!
@@MangoChuyGaming you really handled this comment well, not taking offence and all- good video and well done!
Edit- the random npc kind of looks like the protagonist of Days Gone
Also the idea of ‘this isn’t real’ is cool- though in game it would have been cool if Villedor was a somehow a controlled experiment and the rest of the world was fine, though that wouldn’t explain how Pilgrims work in the game, still a fun idea.
@@idonthaveagoddamnname2623 Thank you, i really appreciate it! And im really glad you enjoyed! The NPC does kinda look like the Protagonist from days gone! i didnt even think of that LOL I agree, that would be cool if it was some kind of controlled experiment! Anyway, Thank you again!
I'm gonna be honest. You're reading way too deep into easter eggs man
