    1) Is ITC available for tax paid on residential dwelling under RCM.
    2) It means from 18/07/22 to 31/12/22 proprietor is mandatorily have to pay gst under RCM irrespective of residential dwelling taken for residential use or business use.

    mam
    1. if proprietor has his own residential unit and he is using it for his own sole proprietor business then is RCM applicable and if yes on which amount should he pay .
    2. if proprietor family member has own residential unit and he is using it for his sole proprietor business and he is not paying any rent to his family member then is RCM applicable and if yes on which amount should he pay.
    3. if sole prop has his own commercial property and he use it for our own business then is GST applicable .

      taxable under RCM if used for commercial purpose but exempt, if taken for residential purpose by proprietor on his own account

      As I understand, Commercial property always fall under FCM , hence if say URD person , Mr. A provide Rent Services to Mr.B (RP) Then RCM will not be Applicable

    If recipient of renting service on residential property for commercial purposes is unregistered and also the owner of residencial dwelling,
    Then in such case how gst can be paid under forward tax machanism.

    Thanks for updating, One question Madam, if some supplier supply Commercial & residential property on Rent, but doesn't exist any GSTIN, But tenant have a Registered GSTIN, then he/she(tenant) have to pay RCM mandatory, but same complex other unregistered person also taken their commercial shops in tenant basis, so main Property Holder/landlord have to take GSTIN in mandatory manner, is there any GST Levy like up to 40 Lacs unregistered entity exemption from supplier of commercial & residential rent properties will apply regarding this mechanism scenario? want to know answer......🙏🙏🙏

      Harvinder Singh ji, firstly the threshold limit is only 20 lacs in case of services (generally other than special category states). Secondly, if the service provider is unregistered, then RCM comes into picture only when the residential dewelling is let out to a registered dealer (except the exception newly introduced from 1st january 2023 - as stated in the video)

    Maam I think there is some confusion, you told that if a registered rent a residential unit for a commercial purpose to a registered person, then rcm will applicable. I think there will be forward charges applicable

    Mam if I am purchasing CIDCO property on 60 years rent basis that time I have to pay 18% GST so so can I claim ITC AGAINST THAT GST
