- We had a go at running a Survive The Hunt on a custom 5M server, which lead to a whole lot of confusion and entertainment. Find out what happened as the hunters try to figure out what i was doing.

This time the Hunters were playing 4D chess and Alex was simply running a 100 meter sprint.

No wanted level is so OP i guess,
Especially because Alex doesn't have to fiddle with the phone in the middle of a chase.
I reckon he had to fiddle with the phone and plan around wanted levels for at least 25% of the game time.
This was definitely fun to watch. Glad to have a less nerve racking episode after the last one in the bike.
But it does seem lacking, without the looming threat of police and random wanted levels for stolen cars, killed peds or players, the sirens that give him away etc.
Sure is, but like, it is some trade off for the fivem servers, you get custom car spawns, player change models, I think it makes a lot of sense for some variety. It's not like they will do all sth like that now, but if we get some variety I will not complain. Even the best content needs some change up now and then

You schooled the hunters masterfully in both of the April 1 games. Well done!
With the lack of wanted levels and free avatar swap, I did wonder if this perhaps reduces the challenge level for Alex a bit too much.
Yeah those two separately could be fine (well the latter more than the former). But together Alex can be as much of a maniac murderhobo as he wants to reveal, blowing up several vehicles/hunters in the process and if he gets seen well that can't be relied upon cause he could be someone entirely different next time. Resetting any progress the hunters made perhaps even harsher than before if Alex killed some of them during a chase.
He can literally run down a dozen pedestrians and unless a hunter sees it there would no reaction. Before you could at least have the sound of the police keep Alex somewhat in check. Maybe send out a notification when Alex reveals himself as a skinwalker.
Now if everyone who chose to rode a bicycle got a boopy gun while they were riding it, I think this would more than even out. I don't quite remember if you can fire them from a bike but just think it be hilarious to turn the bikes for an episode into the most comically dangerous thing to be near.
I mean, they managed to miss him till too late while like 7 of em guarded a pri they're not supposed to hover around, so I think half of his ease of completion was just them being confused and frazzled more than him lookin different than usual 😂

No it's not.
Tonight, no intro comments for a reason - I shouldn't do them again for the same footage. Instead, I will do something a little different, that someone I know of doesn't think to actually do. I would like to begin what I hope will happen each month - in otherwords, prepare for a lesson in "What we learned on STH this month":
* 2:11 Hunters do not like it when one of their own really doesn't pay attention to Alex preparing to shoot at them.
* 5:10 The binincident location seems to remind one hunter about their favourite dairy product for some reason. I wonder why?
* 8:34 Amy finds Laddo's stretch coupe limo quite maddening it seems - must have a touch of the Clarkson in them.
* 10:42 Stevie likes to die after someone else in a hunt. That's why he ensures that someone else is sacrificed before him.
* 14:00 Some hunters get confused when they know where Alex is, and tend to question if they are correct at all it seems.
* 18:54 Looks like Alex actually found a stealth Ocelot Europa during the hunt! With what the hunters were calling out, no one noticed his car!
* 24:02 And the FRPD seem eager to act as crowd control when the hunters are about to pounce. Though not cleanly, I must admit.
That's all from this first edition. Now unless that *person* I know of realizes there was somewhere to beat me to lesson for us to learn, I will see you next month's discussion episode. Until next time....

I was happy when it got foggy as I feel that the blimp is OP unless supercars are out. It's not invincible, but it's too effective unless the weather intervenes. I like the 3-tiered system because there's no blimp at the lowest tier and I think this makes the game more interesting.
I think that there usually are, but there should be more Pris than targets so hunters can't circle the wagons around the last one. It did make for an exciting ending, though.

Perhaps we can get one where say Laddo is the hunted and Alex gets to be part of the shenanigans?

They sometimes do that as a christmas livestream, where the filming crew take turns to be hunted. With the added twist that Alex has to sit in the car as a passenger. Laddo 'cheated' one year by making Alex chauffeur him around ;)

Love the additions of the 5M server, especially better variety of cars, better AI traffic, and tracking of objectives. Could use adding police back in, though. No running from cops or Lester feels like it's missing something.

Since this is modded, do you think you could mod in a recording of the map with player positions? Its a nice little touch that I really like with the discussion videos to help contextualize the chaos, and I imagine it could be implemented very cleanly with mods!
I genuinely don't watch these discussion videos anymore because they don't have them
April fools and this were the best STH shows I have seen in my humble op and I have seen them all. No limits are great fun also.

I am sure you already figured it out, but the reason why your recording is weirdly cropped, stretched etc is that you play in 1920x1200 (16:10) and you record in 1920x1080 (or adapt your recording to 1920x1080 for editing) and that causes 1/10 of the screen being cut off at the bottom.

Hello, just wanted to submit a video idea for survive the hunt. It would be very interesting to see how certain cars like the trophy truck or the dubsta 6x6 perform. You could have a rule where you need to deliver the vehicle to a drop point halfway through the in game 24hrs. I love your content. Thanks for producing it!
Alex I have a high risk, high reward, situational strategy for you. If you find a sentinel xs, take it to LS car meet and keep it looking stock. But upgrade it to HSW performance.

Probably not the most feasible but having a top gear-like discussing STH would be awesome. Get a couple hunters who played a large role as guests and have them describe what was going on on their end of the hunt I think would be pretty cool
I am still hopeing for the disscusing the April Fool servive the hunt pri one. I am sure the chat in that would be x rated lol. Good job Alex on this one. The Hunters were really having to work hard with the AI shananigans going on too.
I think the square of square pri caught on fire by your bomb being sort of far from it. So blew up after a minute or so
The blimp is a game changer.
Imagine if that Europa was a "jelly".... But kidding aside Alex tore it up in the same fashion he did with the bike in a previous episode.
Survive the Hunt idea!!! Have the hunters split into two or three teams, they can’t kill each other but can try to sabotage and be the one to find Alex

Alex, this was excellent! You really should do FiveM more often. More options and customization's with some of RockStar's annoyances removed.
I'm just waiting for an episode of only mopeds spawning 😂
Or better yet, an episode where the only spawning vehicles are the Unholy Trinity of Random All. See how much faster an Alex on foot is compared to a swarm of muppets and Laddo in lawnmowers, rusty tractors, and big slow Dozers.
Great version on the M5 server. Really liked this setup.

Interesting to know how the team actually coordinates. The limo barricade on the final stretch would be genius if it were glued to the entrance with more cars on the front, also, the police blockage where a hunter keeps checking every car coming in was an awesome idea. Too bad Fail is good at sprinting ^_^

Introducing FiveM into the game was a very good idea, the more customizable character appearance is a big fun factor. Maybe the rules needs a little change eg: if the survivor has advantage like this, the Pree (or at least the last one) could be guarded with the same rule set like in the "gone in 60 min" videos.

Is it possible to ramp up the vehicle damage a bit in FiveM? Feel like that would be an interesting avenue for STH so you cant just tank quite so many hits

Oh, a suggestion for a new Task Master: The Explosion Master. Basically a regular game with say 12 prii, but the task master alternates between tasks and deciding which Prii must be next.
Blast Master as a possible alternative name. Keeps the same syllables and long "a" sound.

As a taco van spawned I was wondering if Alex should have taken it and right at that moment the hunters started talking about the taco van. Great minds think alike.. or idiot minds.. hard to distinguish sometimes haha.

Please do a lot more modded gameplay of StH! it's perfectly suited to this, you can mix up gameplay in a numerous number of ways with SO much less headache than vanilla.

Was the usual rules not in play in this one. They seemed to be in quick cars from the get go.
Sense there were a lot of modded cars in it they didn’t do the tier car system and stuck with just the super car rule.

It was Gliscor's car and it was left there from when Alex killed her.

no wanted levels seem to very favor of Alex. Not sure he needs that "help" after all these years. A mad dash like here would be a lot harder with police. I think they should not turn wanted levels off.
