A way for a member to become a leader is decided by the company. All positions such as leader, sub/lead/main vocalist, sub/lead/main dancer, and sub/lead/main rapper are decided by the company. If a trainee is ready to debut and they have leadership skills or qualities of a leader than the company picks that person. They give the leader position to someone who can keep the group focused and resolve all conflicts.
Idols don’t usually choreograph their routines, but sometimes they contribute. For example, solo artist Chungha changes some things on her choreography. Also I’m pretty sure the idols can decide which color they want to dye their hair. Some groups do all the same colors like Bts during Fake Love era and Red Velvet during Ice Cream Cake Era. When all members dye their hair the same color, I think it’s either the member’s decision or the company’s decision
Depending on where you are from, people in Korea have different ways of speaking or dialect(accent). Someone who grew up in Seoul would have a different dialect than someone who grew up in Daegu, or Busan. They also call or name certain things differently

No, the members who want to be a leader will have to go through tests and evolutions and the higher will be the leader
@@Sara28106 not always. Usually they’re just chosen based on who the company believes can do the job well and who has proven themselves to them. Sometimes the leader is just the oldest person or the one who has the most hand in the production side of things as well and sometimes they will be chosen based on an evaluation like you said. It rlly depends on the group, the company, situation, time period etc
@@sleepytoons2155 in txt’s case the company asked the members to play the leader for a week each one of them and at the end they told them to vote for who they wanted to be their leader and all of the voted for soobin
i also heard that most companies don’t tend to make the oldest the leader because they want the leader to have someone to rely on if they’re having a hard time, don’t know if this is true tho

They haven't updated their guide yet but this absolutely thorough almost complete but yea this was old. They had a lot of details tho

Yea this guide was during May 2020 and they've released a lot of contents ever since including their mini album released on Oct 2020 and recently their 2nd full album on May 31 this year. The channel might have not updated till their latest comeback yet but there's a lot of stuff going on especially regarding to the +U (txt universe) which they added an animation s yea

It depends. But recently it seems like Bighit group leaders get choosen by all the members answering questions like;
"Who do you go to to get comfort from?"
"Who do you respect the most?"
"Who keeps your spirit up?"
The one with most votes is choosen.
RM became the leader of BTS since the whole group was formed around him and he naturally made everyone follow him.

I saw someone answer this but I know how they chose leader! TXT has mentioned time and time again specifically Taehyun, at how they chose SOOBIN as their leader. The company helps but the members also have a say who they want to lead them! Its because the leader has to handle each member. He must be the middle ground. And it makes perfect sense especially since Soobin is the only introvert of the group while the rest are extroverts!

Im not 100% sure abt this but I think they took few tests and also take in account the personalities when choosing the leader. This is what I've seen when their labelmate, ENHYPEN's leader was chosen through
