ball lightening is so intriguing sense we only know so little about it. imagine catching it on camera
❤😊❤😊
❤😊
Mike, three eclipses in 3 different years 😮. In Chihuahua I saw the "Mushroom Valley" that are rock formations in a mushroom shape. La Bufadora in Baja California an oceanic geiser 😊
Our planet and nature and the creator are amazing! This video is really informative. Love when you show places many of will never get to experience. Thank you🙂✌️
Our pleasure!
One of the coolest things I have personally seen. Many years ago, near the Bahamas, the glowing blooms in the ocean. It really looks like one of those glow sticks. And it's really cool
I live in Minnesota and I rock snownuts..(and..BREAK STUFF)...so ya snownuts..I can roll with that 😎
One of the theories of the crooked forest is that someone wanted to grow 'knees' for ships and boats, a knee is a right angle bracket, ideally the grain should be continuous around the bend
And i've been to the petrified well.
Came here hoping to find this comment.. 👌🏼🫡
Another awesome vid, Mike! One natural phenomenon I've seen are the stunning cliff faces in Sedona, Arizona; they look like someone painted them that way... So beautiful! 🥰 And btw, loving that shirt, Mike! 😃
I've seen those too! And thank you lol
3:04 Thanks.
What syncs up fire flies is probably the same thing that makes metronomes sync up over time
I am so glad you guys are back! I looked you up on a whim, and here we are. Congrats!
Us too!
The point where the Ohio River meets the Mississippi just south of Cairo, Ill. sometimes has the same effect as the Rio Negro and Amazon's meeting point. The Mississippi is so muddy that the color contrasts between the rivers is as sharp as in that pic. Not sure if the other factors you cited in the Amazon and Rio Negro contribute to the effect. But you can sure tell the difference.
Finally I'm the First person view one your videos! I love your channel & wish i knew someone like Mike in my personal life that I could call my friend
Where I grew up in Central Kansas, we would see them from time to time. Your nomenclature makes the most sense
Got me some of the green sand in 1990. Really cool.
thanks for sharing, didnt know these
Mike, if you post any more List 25s with "mind boggling" facts, you're going to have to include instructions on how to de-boggle our minds! 😀
Easy, just unlearn the facts lol.
I've seen a ball of lightning. It was about 1 mile ahead of a tornado 🌪.
Wow. Just wow..
#SNONUTS ☺👍
Love it, Mike!
I also happen to live in Oregon and see the columnar basalt all the time.
Some folks even have some in their yards with other big boulders as a beautiful landscape.
Hi Mike, I've seen ball lightning out in west Texas. It's really cool, it either just sits there or seems to roll around.
When I was a kid in Alexandria, Louisiana we had a fish shower. They weren't very big, but most of them were alive.
That is so awesome! My mother is from Beauregard parish and she and my aunt remember seeing ball lightning as kids...Also I live 40-45 minutes north of Alexandria in Winn parish!

Fascinating!
When I was well young I visited Prasonisi in Rhodes, where the Aegean sea meets the Mediterranean sea. One side of the beach is wavy and other side is not.
Snownuts 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Awesome
An odd Limp Bizkit shout out outta nowhere🤘🏽
Wait wtf?? 😮🧐 when i started my comment it was at zero views & afterwards it was already at almost 50...???
It be like that sometimes 😅. I have it go from maybe 100 views to a million views while watching the video in the first few seconds. It is a mind f𓅭 when you watch it happen.
It’s a “mind boggling phenomenon “ and he warned you that you wouldn’t believe it existed 😂
Fireflies are just amazing creatures.
#snownuts
Coolest phenomenon I have seen are anticrepuscular rays.
We always called them "snuts" or rollie pollie snowies
The most amazing natural phenomenon that I've seen, are the Northern lights. In the early 1960's you could see them as far south as Vancouver Canada!❤
Always fascinating facts etc.. Mike Estrin you articulate all your words and pronunciations so well.
Why thank you
I’d rethink that name you decided on for the snow donuts. Personally I’d be more inclined to believe the Russian Dancing Forest as Gods handiwork myself!
Columnar basalt aka the Giants causeway
You can also find perfect circular ice floats in the great lakes, same as that island, water flow.
My favorite phenom from my area is the "weather wall" really seen in my area. IYKYK.
Quick someone put a Han Solo figure in the calcium carbonate😂
Glow worms are the female counterpart of the male fireflies.
That would be epic for sure
The Ohio river and the Mississippi river doesn't mix. It's an awesome view from fort defiance, the absolute southern tip on Illinois.
Thor's Well off the coast of Oregon. I got stuck nearby it on a boat with some friends when a sudden thunderstorm started. We ended up anchoring the boat so we wouldn't be forced any closer to it by the waves. It was a beautifully frightening experience.
Crazy facts
another banger
Montezuma Well in Arizona. There are other similar "wells" around the world so it isn't unique. Near Montezuma Castle, it is a sink hole that filled with water. There is a passage for the water to form a small stream outside of the well. I was more impressed with the well than with the castle when my family visited in 1960.
I got to see ball lighting once, ( I'll never forget it)
Some friends and I had gone to a concert and there had been bad thunderstorms all day. As we were getting out of the car, that's when we saw it.
It bounced off a car, and hit a house.
I live on the Isle of Wight. There is also a weather station at the needles
Snownuts., 🍀 big fan from Boston ✌️👏
Crystal Cave in Spring Valley WI is pretty cool 🤔
Really enjoyed this video from Orange County, New York today! Your personality made it very enjoyable. Do it for “The Nookie”!
Snonuts - brilliant Mike!
It's snow nuts 😅 we can never go back!!
I hope this sticks lol
SNOWNUTS!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Snow nuts forever
Visited the Luminous Lagoon in Jamaica. That was amazing
I literally said snow nuts as soon as you said snow doughnuts
Didn't people make those bendy trees with big rocks? I love this channel!
Another interesting fact about fireflies…once one hits your windshield it takes around 30 seconds give or take for the glow to disappear. Found that one out firsthand.
Aluminium thanks for that mike
This April I'm going to travel across America to see the total solar eclipse for the first time, that's in my bucket list and it'll be the most spectacular thing I'll ever see.
Those basalt columns aren't that different from bee honeycomb, it's just a natural shape, like walnuts and brains looking similar, etc. But it does make you realise how amazing the natural world is, just like totally different creatures have similar abilities.
Tolkien would have seen similarly bent trees in the UK. There is a line of small trees, on a hillside in one of my local parks. Some have died since I was a kid, but those that still exist are twisted in odd ways. Age and the environment are probably the cause, just like that forest in Russia.
That boulder in Western Norway looks like something from a Roadrunner cartoon. 😁
the Tonto Natural Bridge has a petrifying spring here in Arizona...
Fireflies flashing when ready to mate: Some people also do this--we call them exhibitionists.... Methane bubbles: Some folks believe that methane bubbles under the seafloor are responsible for sinking ships in the Bermuda Triangle, by changing the density of the water holding the ships up. People do more or less the same thing to other people after ingestion of tacos.
When we collect rocks, there are parts of organs that can be recognised. There are defined membrane fine boundaries to sections and valves. There are rocks that resemble beating hearts that are so exact it’s hard to imagine them as anything other than something living had a slow preservation in mud for thousands of years undisturbed, until it became the stuff it was surrounded by.
Naruto whirlpools = Charybdis, my first thought.
I'm also fan :) and I enjoy your videos. #snownuts
Farafa! Me gusto lo!
#snownuts yes
I found my new favorite CZcams channel
Well thank you so much! Welcome!
#snownuts sounds great.
The animals that fell from the sky is well documented in phoenix event with archaix
I like how you take the time to pronounce foreign words correctly. Im from NZ and i know some of the Maori pronunciation can be difficult for some

Limp Bizkit ❤
#SNOWNUTS!!
Limp bizkit ftw 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Whos watching right now 11.30pm where i am
1:47 Why don’t they call them snow bales if they look like hay bales?
What weird & wonderful things have I seen? Nothing as grand as these!! However, I've seen a few. I guess #1 is seening the Aurora Borialis from an airplane. It wasn't clear for me b/c I had just removed my contacts & put on my glasses & my eyes hadn't adjusted yet. Still, I saw it! #2 is the Grand Canyon. Years in the past, we used to have Lightning Bug light shows every evening of their season. Never a synchronized show though. Now I see very few. I've seen a lake deep inside a salt mountain. Salzburg Austria. I need to go there to learn to swim! I wouldn't sink! I'll end on 2 caves in my area, famous for their formations. Sequoyah Caverns have formations, which I remember as spectacularly "sparkly", though the lighting may have been partly responsible. Lastly, is Ruby Falls. It's an underground fall, but along the trail getting to it, are some remarkable formations. One us named Bacon & Eggs (as I remember it) which actually looks like a plate of bacon & fried eggs! Oh dear, I just read that Sequoyah Caverns has been closed by the landowner.
BTW, The Batagaika Crater looks like a stingray!
Definitely I would say snownuts for sure 😂
#snownuts😮😮😮
❤😊❤😊

So, the Eternal Flame is "6 hours west if NYC"?
AKA, the Buffalo, NY area? So, no cred?
Was that script written by a Dolphins fan, by any chance? 😂

WE CALL THESE SNOW ROLLER
Please mention methane burps! So deadly, but so strange. Not unexplainable though. Just scary.
#snow nuts. 😅
Solid Bizkit reference bruh. And from results may vary too. You cheeky devil. Never pegged you as a fan. So am I. Did you like still sucks? I did.
I did! I actually have a story to go with it lol if you wanna hear
@@list25 Sir, I would be honored. 🤔
So their first stop on the Still Sucks tour was Tampa. I was excited because I had never been able to see them live. So I buy tickets for the Hard Rock Casino. What I don't realize is there are two Hard Rock Casinos on their tour and one was in Tampa and the other was the next week in Miami. I unknowingly bought tickets to the latter. So I drive down to see them anyway...and after waiting a couple hours, the show was cancelled. So I STILL haven't seen them live.
@@list25 Funny thing is, I haven't either. I'ma OG fan. Like since 98. I've been through the muk since then, standing up for my fave band from which they once ruled the world. Never saw them live. They mostly do big gigs outa town as I say. As in Brasil and shite. Way Outa town. And I'm in.. rural Indiana. Yeah. He hasn't been here. Nobody has. I haven't even mostly. LOL Were a fly over state BUT I did have a SHORT convo with Fred on Instagram. I told him my face songs and he hearted my comment. Short talk right?. Anyways I was still tickled pink. But I'm interested now man... Drum roll? ... Fave album and fave individual song? My fave song is "the one" off of 🍫 ⭐ 🐠 🌭 👅 💦. My fave album is results may vary as Alt Rock is my thing, not so much the rap rock or "Nu-Metal". I love his obscure stuff though. Like wastoide or turn me loose for fun. Or RMV b sides like let it go and when it rains. Its majestic. They just gotta give it a chance.. 😔
They have a new tour coming up. Hopefully they end up near you.

Ok 1 important question I am pondering, that I must know... Where has the biggest #Snownut been found?
