  • How to step in Tai Chi & Qigong (further thoughts & practise).
    Beginners usually find this a more difficult process than they expect because we are all used to walking and bending the legs. This part of tai chi and qigong is therefore initially taken for granted by beginners, and not considered to be worth spending any time on.
    However, it soon becomes apparent that leg strength is very much a part of moving in both tai chi and qigong, and the correct use of the legs, together with good balance, becomes unavoidable if you want to move gracefully, under control, and without compromising your posture.

    James Drewe teaches Tai Chi and Qigong in both London and in Kent and online, and there are a number of free videos available as well as 'subscription classes'.
    Details of weekly classes both live and online can be found on the website, and there are classes for 2-person Tai Chi on one Saturday a month.
