Biggie has always been a big part of my life. I have seen almost every piece of content related to him. I saw the notorious movie 6 times in theaters and this still brought tears to my eyes. As puff said some things you just need to live with. I hadn't even had a chance to listen to his music till after he passed and still wish he was here all the time.

Words can’t express how PISSED I was that this COVID BS came around THAT YEAR of ALL YEARS. I wanted to attend the ceremony and watch another artist perform his music. Hopefully meet his family or at least see them in person. It’s a great honor but the times just really cheapened the whole thing for me. And if memory serves me correctly, they had a proper ceremony the next year!! I was DOUBLE PISSED.😡🤬I completely blocked out whatever THIS was from my memory almost three years ago.

    Let me say this:
If the pathetic fanatics/purists don't want to be schooled about what rock & roll truly is, then they could leave the RRHOF & it's social media pages without making an announcement. I'm definitely sure they're not going to be missed by the dedicated experts/historians who truly know the term itself.
The fact is the RRHOF doesn't care about their irrelevant opinions/feelings when it comes to whoever artists being selected for nomination/induction as they don't have discerning minds.
I also said the point of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is to honor the artists who were considered as influencers, innovators, inventors & groundbreakers aka the ones who truly CHANGED the entire course & made the biggest impact in the HISTORY of rock & roll. Not those who were loved by fans.
What's even more insane is those who were attacking rappers & other non rock acts are also the same people who wanted their marginal bands from the classic rock era in as well & only because according to them: "THEY RAWK"!
There's between 50 - 100 older rock bands already honored as opposed to 10+ hip hop acts being inducted but yet those lunatics think differently & suggested otherwise, not to mention the whole BS argument about changing the name into the Music HOF!
Getting to a point when it's becoming increasingly tiresome!

@@EricResells a goat because of facts. You don't give him that because you obviously don't like him for a reason. I bet that reason is tupac. tupac isn't the greatest for many reasons. because in hip hop rap. its not required to be a black panther, its not required to be a actor. Its not a requirement to have lots of records to be given that title. 2pac is the goat to many people who say other things about tupac that's unrelated to hip hop rap.
You strip him down of those titles and you really have nothing. focus on rap. first of all 2pac wasnt a street guy. his friends, real friends say it. kadafis mother said it many times. 2pac is not a gangster. Rap is tied to people in the street that put in work. Hip Hop is tied to the ones who lived in the hood, seen it , witnessed it and told stories about it. 2pac should have been in the krs one categories with the hip hop artist. but he went to the streets where he wasnt about that life and got himself killed. had he been a real street nigga he wouldn't have done what he did to get killed. he got killed because he obviously wasnt aware that you can get killed by hitting a rival member. Suge and those guys shouldn't have to tell him. again though they didn't tell him and they didn't stop him. that was why they let it happen. his own people set him up to take what he has which was his music.
2pac didn't become a icon until his 4th album. big did it his first. his first instant classic better than Tupacs. he went 3-4 times platnium also. Bigs second also classic. its also better than the First one. that never happens. big had everything there is you would expect a rapper to have. can't replicate his voice. the frequency he hits, the impact he has to make you feel it. presence, the life he lived, the content, the story telling, the word play, his vocabulary was to big. he hardly ever stuck to a certain word or used a certain word multiple times. example: you can always count on hearing tupac say is PAIN. its predictable. Biggie isn't predictable man. at all. The many facets big comes at you with in terms of his flow. his delivery. The one thing I will say 2pac has on biggie is his energy on stage and we all know big was heavier. But its not even close. and the fact biggie has little material also means zero because the quality he gave not many can do what he has done in the first two albums. Eminem didn't do what big did in his first two and he's white in a white country. some say 50 cent did, which I agree. but he had help. Eminem and Dr Dre. So he dont count!
Biggie without the help of anyone else took the torch to the east himself when Dre and snoop had it out west.
Biggie at 24 created the best double album ever in his mind, he didn't write it! and he did it at the age of 24. How do you do that and also beat the first one he released? His last song he wrote off his head was the one he did the day before he died. That song was Victory off the p daddy album. that boy wasnt even peaking he was on his way up still. I'm a truth teller. I'm from the street man. I know real street people when it comes in this life. I know music and I will not lie for any reason... I have nothing to gain in lying. Biggie is on a different planet than tupac. tupac needs controversy to let you know he was there. biggie didn't.
To be a GOAT or a GOD. it shouldn't take anything negative to get yo noticed or to sell units. that's not just in music, that is in everything you do.
people want to say 2pac is at the top only because they like. its not based off truth.
Mike Tyson knew both of these men.... he knows all there others that came before these two. he has big at the top. and that's what sold me on my choice to pit big on top.
there is nothing wrong about telling the truth.

Listen, there is no denying that B.I.G. is an extremely talented artist who did amazing things for his genre of music. He absolutely deserves to be honored for his accomplishments! Just not in the “Rock” Hall. Like the other comments here are saying, either induct actual Rock artists (Styx, Boston, Kansas, Foreigner, Supertramp, etc.) or change the name because it’s no longer the “Rock” Hall.
EDIT: Are you serious? I know it’s called the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. “Rock Hall” is just an abbreviation I’ve heard used plenty of times and I’m not going to grace replies telling me to use the right name with an answer. Seriously guys, go get a life if that’s what makes you upset.

    • @Tennisisreallyfun
      @Tennisisreallyfun Před 11 měsíci

@@vita9010 Ummm…no it doesn’t. Rock & Roll came from R&B and has a very specific lineup. Drums, Bass, and guitars (usually two, where one leads and one provides rhythm). The static nature of rap has nothing whatsoever to do with Rock & Roll.

@@pinkzeppelin428 You gave so many comments to so many people here, I didn’t know which one to respond to. Although, read my most recent (and only) reply to you. There I explained why my bands deserve induction, and why you should be a little less insulting with your tone of voice (this comment here is fine, but your main digression on why we’re all stupid for having our own taste in music and thinking that rap artists are not rock & roll artists was definitely insulting in tone).

I wasnt shocked when he pac died and that has nothing to do with picking sides I don't pick sides, I didn't when I was young and I didn't when these guys were killed. But the way 2pac was how he was always in to something the way he moved. I knew he wouldn't be around long. Out in California you can't be like that. something definitely will happen to you. In Bigs case he wasnt like that or if he was I didn't see it. I never seen footage og big doing anything close to what pic was doing. Pac openly welcomed the tension. When I was a young dude up until this day. I never welcomed it and understood that it will come to you some day but how will you react. I will keep peace until the point comes to there is no way out of it. we either going to fight or be some shot up individuals and sadly more likely that would be the case because no one fights anymore. So in bigs case I relate more with him because my mother was a imigrant, was a school teacher and the relationship between me and my mom is just the same. I did the same shit he did on the street. I'm no rapper but I got away from that and lived a honest living. like when I was young and when I cried when big passed... now I'm a grown man and even today when I hear stories about big from people that knew him. The stories people shared about him in his last days.... the plans he had ahead. People say he played in to it. I think that's a lie and people like always make up excuses for pac. if big played in to it the people that tell stories about him would confirm that. people that talk about pac. they tell he was that guy. I know pac was that guy also. if biggie was that guy you would hear it from those close to him and you wouldn't hear any stories about him. why lots of people tell stories about big is because in life he was a good person.years after his death its still good.
im a spiritual person and a Indian from the hopi once told me that immortality can only be had by people who lived a good life and remained a good soul while he lived his mortal life. that good souls are made just as bad souls are made. He who lives a mortal life aggressively will remain the same in the spiritual realm. Than he said when bad people pass many people involved with that person have a sign of relief. He than asked me if someone died who was wrong to you or wrong to many others. what would these people say about that individual in death? I said maybe not say anything at all.... he said if they did say something what would it be? I said either bad or something made up. He than said. lets say someone made up a positive thing to say about that person. you would ultimately in time will learn it was made up because with every year that is removed from the day that persons death occurred. the stories soon will die if they were made up. immortality.... is given to those who were good here in the earth realm. A person who has been gone and still talked about years after they were gone. that person was a positive soul and because of that..... the person will live inside the minds of those in this reality forever. And the reward of eternal life is given to them in the after life. At first I thought he was bs me. Until I heard a muslim man say. it gave me goosebumps. But this man said IN LIFE WE ALL HAVE ABUSERS. DIFFERENT KINDS OF ABUSE. SO WHEN IT IS TIME FOR YOU TO PICK A PLOT FOR YOUR FINAL RESTING PLACE. WHEN YOU GO TO PICK THIS PLOT. ASK ABOUT THE PERSONS YOU ARE BEING BURIED NEXT TO. Someone said why? the man said IN LIFE YOU HAD NEIGHBORS CORRECT? YOU HAVE ABUSERS FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE. AND JUST AS THOSE ABUSERS BOTHERED YOU IN LIFE. THEY WILL BOTHER YOU IN DEATH. the dead visit one another and if the person buried by you is a murderer or whatever. That person will do the same in the afterlife. Which brings me to my last truth. I mediary who claimed she had contacted 2pac in the after life. This is what gave me goosebumps and why I believed what that Indian and islam guy told me. This mediary said when she talked to 2pac that before it concluded she asked him if he has crossed in to the upper realm. That tupac had told her he wasnt ready too... So in our time that's pretty long right? well in the after life time is like eternity much longer than what we say is long. So 2pac still hasn't went before his creator to talk about his life... I believe that because what 2pac did.... it claimed many lives. many lives was lost because he was causing harm by insisting someone set him up when that person had no part in it. They say heaven is for everyone but it isn't. there is a capacity because their was rules to live by. There would be no rules if heaven or the eternal after life was a given... What would be the point of making laws?
