In this FoodFights taste and review challenge we try these two brands of cheddar cheese and sour cream potato chips to discover which ones taste better and have a better crunch and crunchier texture. We also find out which ones have the best price and the better value.
Lay's and Ruffles products should be available at most supermarkets like Albertsons, Publix and Dollar General. We were able to find them at our local Kroger and Walmart store.

ruffles has an innate advantage because the ridges mean more surface area which means more seasoning per chip.

I never liked Lays potato chips. They are so thin and greasy. Ruffles have always been superior. They are thicker, have more of a crunch, are less salty but still pack a punch in flavor.
False lays always have more flavor ruffles are bland

I prefer the Lays because I hate products that contain MSG. It messes up the flavor for me. I've had the Lays one and I like it a lot.
