That was a blast. A buddy and me weren't very good, but we lived in different cities, and had a blast hanging out online playing it. We just kept quoting lines as Peter and Ray respectively. 👌
I got really excited when I saw this as this was something that has bugged me since the original release when I got it and the remaster when I got it for xbox. Only to find out that it's a mod and not something fixed by the developer. I still don't understand how that was not corrected after all this time. Good to know somebody out there cared enough to fix this.
Now we need a multiplayer mod
After 13 years, I finally came up with a head-canon to justify this glitch. In the game, the Ghostbusters are no longer using the GBII logo, but have reverted to the classic logo. When the Ghostbusters reverted to the old logo, they just hastily/lazily slapped a GBI patch over the GBII patch, resulting in the glitch as it appears in the game.
I knew i wasn't the only one who noticed, at first i thought they just covered the GB2 logo just to better fit in with the game, then i thought it was some sort of glitch that may have been cause of beating the game very quickly that it didn't load it in correctly

I wish i had my original ps2 copy my parents got me from GameStop i had a rare glitch when it was playing the cutscene for the hotel the screen turned brown and the game froze reset it and that never happend again and if i remember right it wasnt a used copy it was brand new

Head to the mod page and look at the available downloadable files. Look for version 1.01. I do believe the author forgot to include the gold packs i this first version of the patch fix.

A shame Mad Dog Studios couldn’t fix this bug themselves. Glad I snagged a remastered copy for Pc to get that little bug fixed finally.

@@geggy310 Not sure. The copy I have for Pc I have it on Epic Games. You may want to check in the extracted rar file and read the "readme" text file for instructions.
Not fixed on Xbox? Just PC? Another dope mod would be converting Ecto 1B back to 1A!! 😩

Oh man, so many sad consolies. Now you know why they call PC the master race. You may save like $500 buying a console but it is NOT worth it.
