To deal with the roots from the canopy tree you could add the mod "Cogs of Carminite", it's a Create addon for Twilight Forest which adds a mechanical root puller and a few other things

Hi Skeej I Know The Chances You Read This Are Slim To None But I Have A Singular Mod Recommendation For The Modpack Its Called "Rebind Narrator" It Allows You To Rebind The Narrator Hotkey Or Just Unbind It, It Is A Really Small Thing But Could Make Alot Of People Who Accidently Bump The Keys For Narrator VERY happy

I actually do turn on narrator so often when playing because i use CTRL for sprint (i never double tap to sprint) and B is for my backpacks which i use constantly, good to know!

for leaf farming i like to use a silk touch hoe with efficiency its fast and the durability isn't bad if your using diamond
