This is really good and I have a couple of observations!
    1) The whole shot looks great. Kudos to you for linking up with professionals to produce a HQ monologue. That's important. Your features are wonderful, and their is living color in this quality of video. Awesome.
    2) While I thought your delivery was solid, it wasn't final take-worthy. Your pace of delivery was spot on, but your voice sounds a bit too broken for too long. This monologue by Janet originally is very soaked with ache and heartbroken-ness, so I can see why you set up your voice that way, but you could sound much more confident with the content. This woman really has to cut a man with her words. Here, you seem cut by his actions without intent to flip that shit to ruin him. Your voice distracted me a bit because it felt victimized and stayed broken w/o comeback. You needed comeback, assertion in your voice.
    3) Towards the end, the final wrap up, I believe you could have served face more. By keeping your head still and looking forward, your final words can cut deep. They can't cut a man as deep when you're looking away from his eyes/direction. You know? Like a queen making a decree. "If looks could kill."
    4) Overall I thought you did wonderful! I think you have an independent film-friendly face, and I'll save your monologue in case I see a role for you. Best wishes in the meantime!
    5) P.S. Next time you do a monologue, I'd advise not doing one from a Tyler Perry flick! Not because they're not good, because they are, it's just that it's done to death. Lots of awesome aspiring black actresses are out here reading the same lines, and it bores me personally as a narrative filmmaker. Do you want, no doubt, but if you want to stand out, do anything but Tyler Perry stuff!

dadadosh I appreciate the time you took to give me this constructive criticism! Seriously! Thank you! That's what I need! I have not taken any acting classes (due to my schedule) yet so learning from critics is what I work off. I appreciate this and I will keep this in consideration.

Cyndi Sade Absolutely. I'm glad if any criticism will help you in any way. It's okay if you haven't taken any classes. In my opinion, the best classroom is at home, studying your favorite actresses and actors. Also, I'd suggest you watch their interviews to see the differences between true personality and acting face. Make notes of differences you see. Don't just study them in one movie, either, study their careers. That is, if you can find their older content online. Look at their early work and truly focus on what they do -- Study eyes, mouths, flaring of the nostrils, eyebrow lifts, stuff like that. You can go far. I see it in you, definitely. You have the likeness of Sanaa Lathan with the soft approach of Kimberly Elise. I would suggest looking into their work more to condition your acting skill. You can do it! Best wishes!

Except if you do the original poems from the play. The source material is classic. I'm reading the play right now

I am years late on this video, but she did an amazing job and I love your constructive criticism to her! It was done tastefully. As an actress, I am taking your criticism as well haha. I honestly didnt know TP Monologues were not recommended. Thanks for the heads up!

dadadosh mate!!! This feedback was IMMENSE!!! I read this and thought - erm - be my COACH??! This is brilliant! I could sit and speak with you regarding every single thing you said for hours! It’s amazing that you took time to share this. It’s INVALUABLE to an actor honestly

Aitanna Parker (Ms Pawka) plays the Lady in Blue in the play "for colored girls who have considered suicide / when the rainbow is enuf" by Ntozake Shange's. This play is of a series of poetic monologues and tells the stories of seven women who have suffered oppression in a racist and sexist society.
