I once found what I thought was a hideous ring that turned out to be sterling silver but it had the nicest one and a half carat diamonds in it. A jeweler friend said it was old but high quality. I put it into a pendant for the wife. Anyway, you just never know what you will find… John

If the setting was in a little nicer condition, maybe gold, I would test for sure.

Oh, I found some really heavy stuff in the past. This one is definitely a useful find, I’ve already cleaned it up.
I like beaches better, but that's just me. That cutter should clean up nicely - can never have too many basic tool kits in multiple locations...😁

found a stainless chain and a stainless pendant weeks later entered the i. finds of the month and got a 1/2 oz silver round. for most unusual.

Good squirter of inox pliers would be brand new.😂.
They’re cleaned up now, a little pitted, but almost new again😊
